Hi, Michelle! Great idea...an electric fence to keep the bears away from the bee hive. Very clever! If I were a bear, I'd shop elsewhere! ;) Tomorrow my son turns 52 years old. He's not exactly had the life I had envisioned when he was a young boy. He's had his ups and downs over the years and hasn't made the best decisions in life. Now I have worries he will never work again if he doesn't get himself out there to do something. He lives with his father and has had medical issues for the past several years. I don't know how to talk to him, which has always been difficult. Anyway, he wanted the new Superman movie, so ordered it from Amazon & might be delivered to him by Friday. He keeps asking me if I've seen it yet. Then didn't mail his birthday card until yesterday. It probably won't get to him by tomorrow, but will let him know. Wrote a check. My daughter, Suzi, is a sweetheart. She wasn't perfect, but has turned out to be a responsible, loving woman. It's times like this that I wish we lived closer, but we don't and am happy to be living here. Raising children is not easy. My father passed away when he was 67, I think. From the time I was in 2nd grade, I only saw him when he'd get us on Sundays. We'd go over to my Grandpa Kunkler's home....stuffy and he wasn't a friendly grandpa. Usually my father and grandpa talked and we just listened. Very odd. He would take us to bars with his wife, which was a no-no. My stepfather came to the bar and ushered us out. OOPS....caught! We then didn't see him anymore until he was dying from cancer at veteran's hospital in Dayton, Ohio. I did get letters from him, which I still have. Oh, well, I try not to think about that very much. My kids got to see him once in Dayton. Well....I could write a book about the ups and downs of my life, but would rather think about where we're going to eat lunch today. I hope you have a good day over there. I'm really happy to know the bees are doing so well!!!!! Take care! xxx
