Between the restaurant and the garage we stopped off at a charity shop which Sam hadn't been to. Like me and Sue, Sam loves a charity shop. She bought several bits and I treated her to a vintage brown Tupperware jug which she fell in love with. I had to smile as I'd had one years ago and have no idea what happened to it. I did tell her when I'm no longer here and she and Tessa clear my house they'll probably find it in the loft with a lot of other Tupperware stuff. She bought a few things and I also bought Henry a wooden construction kit of an aeroplane which Sam assured me he'd love. Sam says I know the best places to go!

I smiled about the blood taking, that they only wanted one of Don's and 3 of yours, they usually take 2 from me and I'm never really sure what they're checking for. It's probably best not to know. lol

Good luck resurrecting the dinosaur, careful he doesn't bite you....O no he doesn't have a mouth, take care   xxx

Hi Janet, it's been a beautiful sunny day 60f, the best day of the year, so far. Sam and I had a lovely time. I picked her up from the garage and we went to a nice little restaurant and had tea and scones. We sat there for a couple of hours and when we went back to the car, which I'd left under a shady tree, we couldn't believe the sight before us. I'm sure Hitchcock's Birds had been waiting for us to disappear before they did their worst. lol  I took Sam back to the garage and the lady in reception said to her 'what's happened to the car, it's covered in bird muck'. Sam told her how we left it and come back to find it like that and she came out and asked the man who valeted their cars if he'd put it through their wash. The lovely guy power washed it and dried it off and it was cleaner than before I went out this morning. I slipped him something for his trouble as it would have cost me a lot more at the car wash, he was happy and so was I. The lesson learned is 'Don't Park your car under a tree'. LOLOL
