Hard to believe tomorrow is Christmas Eve-wow! Yes, all good here, busy, but good. We were at our daughter's last evening for some Christmas cheer and tomorrow at some point she, her boyfriend and dog (Mango) will come and stay with us for three nights.
Presents are all wrapped, turkey is out of the freezer to thaw, I'm looking forward to it. I brine my turkey so I will make that brine today so it is good and cold for the turkey to go in tomorrow night. I'm originally from Newfoundland so I'm doing a jiggs dinner as well. Have you heard of it? Salt beef, pease pudding and all the veggies cooked in one pot-delicious! I didn't do a whole lot of baking, I made my mom's light fruit cake
(twice because we ate the first one!) and a couple types of cookies but thats about it.
Our snow is gone, last weekend we warmed up to double digits and lots of rain so the snow melted. It's cold again now but so far no more snow. How are things with you?
