Good morning Shirley,
It is unusually cold here for us right now, yesterday we were -22° with the windchill, normally we are much more temperate. Not sure how long it will last.
Our cupboards in the kitchen don't go all the way to the ceiling so we line them with fake branches of cranberries and white lights, it's quite pretty. This is the last year we'll be able to do it as we're redoing our kitchen in the spring and the new cabinets will go all the way up. Our daughter lives about 20 minutes away so her and her partner and looney tunes dog (we love her!) come and spend Christmas Eve, Christmas night and boxing night here with us. My mom lives with us as well so the 5 of us hang out and have a real nice holiday. Being only 20 minutes away, we see them regularly anyway, but it's nice to have them come and stay for the three nights.
I play recreational pickleball and am in a fun tournament this morning so must finish my coffee, have a bite to eat and head out. Enjoy your Saturday!
PS-I think you guys are 4 hours behind us. My niece lives in Alberta and they're 3.

Hello Shirley. We are having some snowy conditions right now…it’s died down for now and the below zero temps are arriving overnight and for tomorrow. Some schools closed and others had delays. A few were on schedule. We took Piper to the vet yesterday for the final shots in the series she needed. She’s gained exactly 3 pounds in the 7 weeks we’ve had her. She weighs 5.3 pounds and doing well. Penny is coming around…sort of. It’s a very slow process with her but I do see some light shining through. I’m starting to feel some relief. I was very concerned for quite a while but I’m thinking it will work out eventually. I will take that even though it’s taken a lot longer than I had hoped. She still has a long way to go so my fingers are crossed 🤞🏻. Larry gets a lot of time off throughout the year. I think he’s up to 6 weeks now. He works tomorrow and all next week…has a half day next Friday and then he’s off until the beginning of next year. I have the house both inside and out all decorated. How are you doing? Do you have your house all decorated or do you wait until closer to Christmas? How has your weather been?  I hope you are enjoying your December so far💜
