That sounds like something the kids would like to do. We took them to Howe Caverns last year and they really enjoyed it. When we finished the tour they got their bag and did their mining!! They were so proud of their treasures!!

Hi Kathy.  I think I remember you going to The Eternal Flame Waterfall. We are taking the kids on Friday. I know to bring a lighter because the flame seems to be out more often than not from my research. Is there any other tips or advice you can give or anything I should know?

Sunday is supposed to be very hot and humid, perfect day to go to the movies and enjoy the air conditioning. One of our favorite coffee shops is located in Tully…Bloomin Cup. If you have time stop to get a coffee to enjoy on the deck…I highly recommend. Is Beth staying with you for the weekend or is she just in for the day? What fun sissy things do you have planned? Supposed to rain this afternoon, I hope it does for the sake of our grass. It needs water regardless, it’s starting to turn brown in spots. Hard to believe just a few weeks ago we were water logged!! I’m glad Michaela is doing well. Sounds like she married into a really nice family that will more than make up for having a shitty Mom. Thank Goodness She got out of what could’ve been a completely different story for her. It’s sad that Jennifer is going to miss out on all the things. I guess she can’t blame anyone but herself. What a weird weather day it is. Looks like rain and then it’s sunny. The guy came to put grub killer on our lawn today. He comes 4 times a year doing fertilizer, weed killer, grub control and flea and tick prevention. Now I need it to rain Friday morning. Says on the paper to heavily water lawn in 2 days to ensure grub control saturation. Now that I want it to rain it won’t. 🤪

Maybe if I saw Bill’s Dad I would remember. I can’t place him but the break in story does sound familiar. Boy, we had lots of stories!! So many strange people/ and things …lol. That is so sad about Martha. She’s so young. I feel bad for the kids too. I know what they are going through and it’s not easy. It makes me sad to think of the road ahead for them. How is  Michaela doing?

Oh dear, that is so sad. I do remember Bill. He used to come into the store regularly during Covid. I think I remember him having cancer but I might be wrong. Didn’t he plow your driveway in the winter?  Martha would come into the store quite a bit too. She was always asking me tech questions and bringing her computer in asking me to help her. I’m not very tech savvy. She seemed like a very nervous person. I remember always feeling bad for her, and him. They both seemed sad all the time. I don’t remember his Dad though. My niece used to date Max way back when. I remember them buying a house in Solvay too, buy the electric department….Hunts Hill area. I bought my car out when the lease was up in 2021. There weren’t many new cars available at the time and the guy that came to inspect it suggested I keep it because it was in great shape and low miles. I’m glad I did because I like my car and I hate getting a new one. We don’t have any car payments now and that is nice however Larry will probably get a new truck next year. His is getting old and the body has some rust. I don’t blame you, I would rather not work in the summer either…or the winter for that matter…lol!! I babysat this aft

we are all safe here.  the prairies, Alberta, Saskatchewan & Manitoba all have the devestating wild fires.  brings back watching LA's wild fires last year.   flipping scarey so many people have to be evacuated from their homes.      How are you and the family doing?    Last time we chatted, years ago lol, you had just 2 grandsons?         

Karen Baker, she lives in Mattydale. I noticed she was from Syracuse one day last year when I was watering so I told her I was from there too. She gave me her name and said if I liked I could friend request her. Her daughter works for Alex Abdo. She told me last week that I had some mutual friends of her daughter so I looked her up and saw she worked at the law firm.

It has been so cold. Saturday was nice but Sunday was miserable. The kids had makeup games at different times. I thought Layne’s game was cold at 11:00 but Liam’s game at 3:00 topped it. It was so cold with a misty rain. I was shivering most of the day Sunday. They each had a game last night at the same time. Luckily the fields are next to each other so we hangout in between them. I’ll bet the mountain laurel was beautiful. I always feel that traveling by car is tiring even though I’m not the one driving. Just sitting there is exhausting to me. I’m glad you got the Airbnb worked out. I hope Mikaela had a good weather for her special day!!💜

I can understand that because I am the total opposite of you when it comes to traveling. I hate to travel and try to avoid it as much as possible. I don’t want to go anywhere ever. 🥴 when I started bringing stuff from our old house up here to put away I really had to think about what made the most sense for placement. I do wish I had more drawers though. I prefer them to a cabinet even though I think they are not as practical because you are setting things on top of each other…kind of like a deep freezer, the stuff on the bottom gets forgotten. Oh well, it will be nice to have a brand new kitchen and if you are like me you won’t want to cook anything in the beginning because you want it to stay all shiny and new…lol. Safe travels!!💜
