Good evening Lizzie and that is very sad that you are not allowed to see one of your grandsons. I know how you feel, as I never got to see one of my granddaughters when she was young. But even though I don't see a lot of her now, when she sees me she makes a bit fuss of me and gives me big hugs. Today it has been rather wet so no walks out. This morning I finished my son-in-law's Christmas Cake off, as he doesn't like marzipan or icing on his cake. My daughter gets the block of marzipan as she loves it. The other two cakes got the marzipan on them. Then in a couple of days I will get them iced. This will then be another job off my list of things to do. My next big job is wrapping presents up. Sending you my very best wishes and love and hugs. xx

a sunny afternoon hello, Lizzy, and a splash! it's so good that Katie can help you out with the driving. it's a bright and sunny day here, too, but still freezing at -15C. tomorrow should be warmer; hooray!  for now I'm simply enjoying sitting in the sunlight. take care, and be warm! xx
