thanks for spotting my WRC

It's so sad when someone suffers so much, you wonder why some people pass through this life with very little mishap until the end and others like Cindy suffer so much. It doesn't seem right but it's much like some have so much and others in poorer countries have no education, no medical aid and go without food. The world is an odd place. I think I'm very lucky to have so many relatives even if some of them are getting old, heck I'm getting old too. You take care too  xxx               

My brother "Larry"  was right in the middle of us.  Two sister older and two younger.  He lived off the grid for many years now.  Not by need.  He owned a farm and other land.  Plenty of resources to live however he chose.  He just lived life the way he wanted.  He was a bit odd to talk too.  But very smart and very talented.  He build all the cabinets for my sisters home when they were building.  Built the chimney for the parsonage at the church.  There wasn't much he couldn't do.  He was quite the jack of all trades.  A nice guy and helpful to anyone.  He was around the community a lot.  He wasn't a hermit type.  He loved people.  He just didn't want to bother with electricity/bills/drivers license.....  Anything that kept him connected or obligated was out.  Off the grid worked for him.  He grew his own food.  Had water on the property.  It was just his thing.

He wasn't often around for pictures.  But we often wen't to pick him up for holidays and such.  He was by far my Moms favorite.  The only son thing....

We had my brothers service yesterday.  It was a lovely service.  So many friends telling funny and heartwarming stories of him.  Lots of family and friends (some i haven't seen in 50 years) were there.  He still lived in the community we grew up in. so many have known him forever.  Mom really did well. 

I'm glad that is behind me. 

Oh Janet that's a pain. I know when I lost mine I'd given up getting it back then I asked at the customer service desks of the stores I'd been in and one of them had it, I was amazed. I suppose you checked the garden where you'd been chopping down the tree and the bin with all the cuttings in??? When my mum lost her wedding ring she found it in a drawer where she'd put some sheets. The trouble is it's so small, get detecting all round the house and the rubbish bins and don't forget to check the sweeper.  Good luck, happy hunting.  xxx

Wow I'm so pleased he went, men are so weird about seeing a doctor, my ex was just the same.  My cellulitis has now spread around my leg and my ankle is swollen but I feel a lot better today. I felt so awful yesterday I went to bed early, that's when you know I'm poorly. lol Let's hope Don feels better with the new meds. xxx

Hi.  How are you both?
Seems like my summer has come and gone in a blur.  Went to Alaska.  Just got back from a wedding in Colorado. 
We are having a service for my brother in a week.
A storm played havoc on some of my trees.  The chainsaw did not cooperate.  The lawn mower has issues. 
Kitchen light fixture is broken.....   I'm sure if i thought a minute there would be more....

In general....Life has been crazy! 

Thanks for all the visits, Janet!  How are you, Don, and Randy?  I hope you are all well.  It's quite warm here for the last couple of days but I imagine you would think it was an ok temp. kind of day! lol  We've got Wesley here and he's watching a children's show on tv.  So, I'm using the time wisely to catch up on my garden visits.

P.S. Can you just send that lovely man of yours round here and I'll get the thermistor off ebay and he can fit it. LOL Strangely enough the TV's been as good as gold since I told you about it.   xxx
