Although it's closer to early morning Sprinkles....I fell asleep again. Happy to hear that the Rx is making Sis more comfortable,  continuing with prayers til she's back to her sassy self. You have been a busy bee! Hope you were able to get some rest. Yes, I did make it out to the pig, though it was quite the trip. A drift in front of the front door made it difficult to open, but I managed to squeeze out, sideways. First foot out the door sink down to ABOVE  my knee, luckily I  had both the snow shovel and my walking stick and managed to stay upright. Once past that drift it wasn't too bad. Best news is the pig read 40& !!!
So.dont have to worry about a delivery order. When I got back to the front door, I managed to work thatbshovel.on the drift so the door opens again. Sounds like Scottie is making her way back, though she lost quite a bit of ground,  it will take some time. Still praying for her too. Heading back to Dreamland now,.need a few more Zzzzzz's. Good morning, Susan. I’m glad that Scottie is out of ICU. I will continue praying for her and hope she gets out of the hospital soon. I can’t even imagine, I feel so bad for her parents. It’s a very scary situation. I’m sorry to hear Sadye isn’t feeling well. Where does Ed’s daughter and son-in-law live? I hope you all have a nice visit. Do you have anything special planned for their time with you? It’s cold again today. Woke up to 13° with the windchill of zero. Not as cold as you thought🥶🥶🥶. It is currently snowing, but it’s not really sticking. We are supposed to get more overnight and into tomorrow. This winter is the never-ending one. Good morning, Susan. Layne is feeling much better. She still looks like she was in a bar fight and lost but bruising has a way of doing that…lol. The kids went back to school today.We got snow over the weekend but we are not in the storm path that is hitting the northeast. It is all south and east of us. Tomorrow is going back down into the teens…brrr. How was your weekend?  We had a quiet one. Tomorrow Piper has to go to the vet to have her blood work done for her upcoming spaying surgery. That is on March 9. Wednesday she is going for her first grooming session. She needs it bad, her hair is so long everywhere. I’m hoping that she behaves. I brush her every day and she’s not too fond of it so I don’t know how this is going to go, fingers crossed. sending love and hugs to you and Sadye💜

Thank you for your encouraging words. Today was rough,.just felt like a dark cloud descended over me and couldn't shake it. I did go out and reshovel what I shoveled yesterday. The snow was heavy and wet, so I  didn't try to make it over to the pig. Ended up taking a nap and did feel somewhat better.
So what is the actual date of Monica's arrival  at your place? Sounds like you have your ducks in a row, even down to the menu! So pleased that Scottie is making such progress and will keep the prayers coming. Tomorrow is the cold day, followed by more snow on Tuesday and Wednesday.  One day at a time.....haven't made a decision about the car yet. I best decide by Wednesday with Amanda coming on Friday. I'm sending you pics of the current level of snow. It's daunting to think of wading through that over to the pig,.which was on my agenda for today along with more shoveling.
Now that I'm up and moving....I'm one aching mess,.back, legs,.neck.shpulder. Tomorrow is supposed to have a high of 18°,more snow on Tues/Weds.
I feel defeated by this winter. Hard battle for a 72 year old gal on her own. Not how I imagined my "golden years".Oh well, I'll stop complaining.  Doesn't do any good. I'm going to cut this off here and write a continued post, as I know this is running long. ♥️

Yes, I did go out and shoveled my way out to the car. There's at least a foot of snow in front of the car again. I brushed off the car and started it,.but.it wasn't going anywhere.  Shoveled a nice path to the car and back up.the walkway.
It has snowed all day and I think it will till around 10am Sunday. Not sure when Ronnie will be by. To top it off...more snow on Tuesday.
Can't even think of it. News flash:
The bra has been found at the bottom of the laundry basket. It us still a mystery though....how did it get there? I looked through the basket x2.  That is very encouraging news about Scottie. They sure will be happy when they get to bring her home. Praying for continued progress. I'm waiting on a FVC to be spotted in my garden, it's holding me up. I forgot to ask you, what was that
project thar took five hours and left you sore? I'm guessing maybe wall washing? Well, we were supposed to have rain til around 4pm and I was hoping it might change the nature of the snow and I might be able to move the car, but we changed over to snow around 11am & it's snowed ever since. Don't even think I'll try messing with it today. My shoulder is better, but now I've a stiff neck and it hurts to turn my head. I know it's related to all the gyrations I was going through between the car and shoveling that heavy snow. I watched some utube videos last night on how to move a stuck car by yourself. So I have some ideas for when I feel I can tackle it again. That is very worrisome and sad about Scottie. That poor baby has been through the mill. Poor Rylan too, this is traumatic for him. Hope these scans will give a definitive diagnosis and come up with a clear course of action. Thank you for keeping me abreast. I continue to pray for the whole family. What arenyou up to today? Is Ed due home? I'm going to take a video of this latest weather and send it along to with love, hugs and kisses

Hi Susan, Layne was at our house this afternoon and she’s feeling much better. She was running around playing with Piper and even ate most of her lunch so that’s a Good sign as she had no appetite for the last week. She still has a little swelling above her eye but it has gone down considerably. It’s still very black under the eye and on the lid but everything else is turning yellow, another good sign. I’m so sorry to hear about your friends baby. RSV is no joke. Liam had it a few years ago. It was the sickest I’ve ever seen him. He didn’t have to be hospitalized for it , thank God. I’ve added your friend and their baby to my prayer list. Thank you for your prayers for Layne. I appreciate them so much. I hope Sadye is doing well. Sending love and hugs to you both 💜

Sorry this is so late. Ronnie was here early and plowed around my car, but I knew I was going to have to do some digging because of that big drift. Decided to go tackle it before Laura's call at noon. First surprise was the deep, heavy snow on my walkway, that I kind of half asked cleaned up. The car started just fine, but would not budge...so frustrating! Headed back into the house, but had to tackle that heavy snow on the walk and steps, felt my back seize up on one shovel full, burst into tears and threw down the shovel and went into the house as the phone was ringing. Hate to answer the phone while sobbing! The thing is, it's so frustrating and I sure don't want to shell out another $200 for a wrecker to come move the car again. And now there's more snow coming!!! Well, it's close to 40° and I'm going to make another attempt at moving the car and see if I can do a better job of clearing the walkway,  before the next round of snow. Not going to blow a gasket if the car doesn't move, as there's nothing I can do about it. It can sut there.  At least the drive is plowed and I can walk down to the mailbox. But it was not a good start to my day. At lea

Good morning, Susan. Layne tripped and fell in gym class last week and hit her head. She had a pretty big goose egg on her forehead above her eye which lead to a very bad black eye. The bruise has traveled down her cheek and across her nose to the other eye. It's a faint bruise on the other side. She spent the night in the pediatric emergency department that night with a follow up at an ophthalmologist. She wasn't eating much and said she felt nauseous. She was bothered by the loudness of the movie the other night and threw up when she got home. I told Heather to call the doctor and get her seen. She went yesterday morning and they said she has a mild concussion. Poor thing is really suffering. I feel so bad for her. I thought I messaged you what happened to her. I went to stay with Liam when they took her to the emergency department and didn’t get home until 3 am so I was very tired the next day. I must’ve imagined telling you without actually telling you…lol. I hope you and Sadye are doing well. Sending love and hugs 💜
