Yes, this smoke situation is really something. There has even been ash falling from the sky. That yellow sky is so eerie! I only went out today to.get the mail and that made my eyes and throat burn. Nit sure if DeLyle will be up to working in the smoke. He always calls before he leaves his house to.come here, so I can run out and move the stuff. It has really cooled down. I didn't have to ice myself down and am under a light blanket! Laura and her boyfriend are going on vacation tomorrow and have an air b&b booked in Thunder Bay Canada, right where the fires are! I feel badly for them, they've had it booked fir several.months. Will has asthma so I don't think they should even attempt to go. I understand completely how you feel about all the work you put into the garden and maybe Kathy does not appreciate how hard you have to work to bring in the harvest! Well, I best get to sleep. Hello, Susan.  We are experiencing a very bad smoky haze from the Canadian wildfires. It is very yellow outside and the sun is a pink/salmon color in the sky. Very eerie. It even smells smoky when you go outside. I'm feeling a bit nervous today. I have a 2:00 appointment for a teeth cleaning with a new dentist.
My dentist retired at the end of last year. The new dentist was recommended by my old dentist. I have SEVERE dental phobia and it's leaving me feeling so anxious right now. I have about an hour before I leave. Tomorrow we are taking the kids up to The Wild Center in Tupper Lake in the Adirondacks. I hope you and Sadye are doing well and enjoying your day!! Tuesday Sprinkle for our Sweeties!
Just got off the phone with DeLyle,  he'll be here Thurs morning. Yay!
Hot as hell here. I was able to sleep up.in my nest last night, with the fan about 3 feet away and rubbed down with ice cubes. The feels thick.  I know people with breathing issues really suffer in this heat and humidity. I'm so glad that your back is feeling better. The garden sounds like it's really doing well, thanks to your watering! There was another jumper off the bridge 2 nights ago and further down the coast, a man fell off his paddle board and drowned and they had units out looking for his body. Well, not sure what's on my agenda for today. At some point, I'll head back to the pond. The beach will be super crowded and walking across that hot sand is not fun...on days like this, you really can't sunbathe on the beach...it's just too hot 🔥.  When I was out at the pond yesterday, I actually sprayed myself down with the hose several times! Well, I best find something for breakfast...maybe just a blender drink. Stay cool, Bestie!

Monday Sprinkle for our Sweeties!
So sorry that your back is acting up again, but at least you had a good night's sleep. My nest was fine when I went to bed, but around 3-4am we had a big, thunderstorm and it seemed to heat up and get humid after that.
It's comfortable with the fan on in the livingroom. Still not sure about the beach today...ankle is a little wonky. Will see how I feel when it gets a bit later. Usually don't go til around 3pm. Don't want to jinx, but Amanda's visit is still on for next weekend maybe even arriving Friday night! Don't want to get too excited yet. Laura may come in late August. Still waiting on Kathy to pick a date. You'd think someone would take little miss Ava for a couple of days!!!. I need to call DeLyle and set up a mowing date....the lawn is looking mighty shaggy. Well, Bestie I sure hope your back feels better soon and please be careful during Jen's bath tomorrow!  Will keep up with the prayers. Sending lots of love, hugs and kisses ♥️♥️♥️

Hello Susan. That is great news regarding Molly!!  I’m sure you and Kathy are delighted!! I’m glad Sadye is is doing well too… always good when our fur babies are doing well!! How is your weather?  We are having hot humid days still… I’m looking forward to Fall type weather, not that I want to rush summer but I do prefer the Fall. I took the girls for a walk after dinner last night and I’ll probably have to do the same for the next few nights. It’s been too hot earlier in the day. I hope you are well and enjoying your day. Hello Susan, we are also under a heat dome. We broke a record yesterday. It got to 96 and the record was 95. Today is going to be hotter…99 with a heat index of 111… I’m not a fan of extreme heat as many aren’t. We are all staying in the air conditioning too. My son is a laborer for our village DPW and I worry about him being out in the heat. We have no plans this year for the 4th. Penny is not bothered by fireworks but I have a bad feeling Piper will be… I guess we will find out very soon. They are at the groomers now. Piper sat in her seat and didn’t get sick… until I took her out of the car. She threw up in the grass. I gave her a whole Meclizine an hour and a half before we left and she refused to eat so she didn’t have anything other than water in her stomach. Larry gets out at noon today and has tomorrow off. He should be home by the time they call for us to pick them up so I will be able to hold piper on our way home.  I hope your weekend is a relaxing one and try to stay cool. Sending love and hugs 💜

Night Sprinkle for our Sweeties!
High of 88°, but the humidity was brutal....like hitting a brick wall. My glasses fogged up the second I stepped outside.  I did spend a little time by the pond, but I didn't want to get too much sun. Reported a plant on the porch, but that was the extent of my outdoor activities. I chickened out on the spring rolls, but I made a salad out of the stuffing....no cooking involved! Tomorrow I think I'll  have a BLT salad and add some avocado rather than croutons.
Water temp finally at 62°,  but still planning on waiting til next week to go to the beach. Town is already crazy with the tourists invasion for the 4th. It's not bad up in my nest, maybe a little stuffy, but I've got the fan blowing on me. Glad you're keeping cool and you can put off your trip to the copy place til next week. Heading out to find you in Dreamland,  bringing love   hugs and kisses for my Bestie ♥️♥️♥️

😲 there's nothing to water!
Not super hot yet. But the humidity is like hitting a brick wall when you step outdoors. No. Not doing laundry today. I've got a Mumu on for in the house and I plan on going out to the pond later and will wear shorts and a tank top.
No one can see me back there any ways! These crowds should clear out after Sunday the 5th.
No I did not get around to the dining room table yesterday. Lol.
That storm had me side tracked. That big wave of motivation I experienced has passed. Lol.
Hope you get those pages copied. Do you have to travel far?
Going to try my hand at spring rolls for supper...never made them before and that rice paper looks tricky! You and Sis keep cool.
