Tuesday Sprinkle for our Sweeties
Yes, woke up.to torrential rain.  Still going to rain off & on for most of the afternoon.  Hope to get out early tomorrow while there's a break in the weather and get my laundry done.  The porch is pretty well set up for the summer. It's not as jungle like as it's been in the past,  but I'll buy some more house plants & ferns over the course of the summer. Can't afford them at the moment with taxes due, but will get them, slow but sure. I guess I jumped the gun on wearing shorts....back to long pants. It's 62° today! Since I'm housebound today I guess I'll clean the bathroom and I should sort through my tote.of summer clothes and put some in my dresser and put some sweaters and such away. I suppose by next week, I'll be needing to call DeLyle again after all of the rain....it's supposed to rain & be stormy both Wednesday and Thursday nights.

Good morning Susan. I will be thinking of Molly and saying all the extra prayers 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻. I hate the thought of her being there all day without her people. I always feel sad when I have to leave the girls for a grooming… at least they are together though. We’ve had some really nice weather. Yesterday was kind of a flop. It was cool and the threat of rain was there all day. Today is the pick day of the week. Going up to 80 degrees with very low humidity. The sun is shining and the birds are chirping. The rest of the week is going to be sunny and nice but with high humidity… yuck. I hope you are doing well and had a nice weekend. Sending love and hugs to you and Sadye ❤️

As far as I know, Lita is doing fine.
Kathy hasn't mentioned anything further about her. I'm going to have to come to some decision about the Ava situation. It seems there are no friends that she can stay the weekend with (that says a lot) and she & Dennis have not started counseling yet. I really  want to see Kathy,  but there's not a lot for a 14 year old to do here. I think she'd be pouty if she came and man, if she's sassy to her Mom, old Aunt Susan would have a hard time not putting her in her place. I think it would be a very uncomfortable situation.  Arrrgh.
Amanda has a new date for a visit
the last weekend in June and another, sometime in July.  I know you have a busy day tomorrow and I'll pray that Mollie Mooch can get her test done. Night Sprinkle for our Sweeties!
My knee felt better as the day progresses and I actually got quite a bit more done on the porch. I did plant the planter and reported some of my house plants that needed dividing. It was a very pleasant day and spent a lot of time on the porch. This quest is going into the 4th week, only one thing left and that's for a winged unicorn to be spotted in my garden for the 2nd time. It keeps getting missed....arrrrgh! I think I'd like to start the easy pottery lottery this month, but need to wrap this quest up first. Tomorrow is supposed to be rainy, not sure what's on my agenda. My biggest lilac by the porch is in full bloom and has lily if the valley growing under it...the combined scent is just heavenly!

Thursday Sprinkle for our Sweeties
Nope, no laundromat today. Once up & moving around, that knee was very stiff (not painful, just stiff) but I figured toting.loads.of laundry wouldn't do it any good, so putting it on the back burner til next week. I'll get back to trimming the walkway today and I bought a few plants to put in an outdoor planter, I'll set up. Still need to connect the hose,  but requires a low squat, as the spigot is about 10" from the ground... this knee is really cramping my style!! It is so much better though,, I hate to complain. Another factor is rain coming in later this evening could have it stiffening up. I love the pics of Sis enjoying her happy place. It warms my heart to see the 2 of you out there, so peaceful. Hello my dear Susan. How are you? How is that gorgeous little lady? I hope she's well and being her usual sassy self. I'm back at work on Monday but I'm not looking forward to it. They don't understand what it's like having Crohns. I've been looking for something that works from home, but so far there's nothing. I'll keep looking though as I don't think I can carry on doing full time there. There's no option for reduced hours in my job, nor a combination of working from home, but I don't see why not. Everyone worked from home during Covid, so it can be done. I think it's because there's 2 others in the office so they may want to do it too. I have an appt with my Gastro Consultant on Tuesday, so we'll see what he suggests. I hope there's another variety of biological injection as this one clearly isn't working. They got me to increase it to weekly instead of fortnightly a few weeks ago which has made everyhting worse. Hugo is doing really good, still his bouncy, loving self. My youngest Son Brad moved out last Thursday. He's got an internal relocation with work to a city that he loves, so he's happy about that. I'm happy for him too, but we're very close, so I really miss him. It's only about 1.5hrs away on the train, so not too bad. He's got friends there, so at least he's not alone. It was a humdinger of a day! Don't know what got into me, but I thought, bugs be damned...I didn't survive the terrible winter to sit indoors while it's beautiful out. I set up my pond area and then worked on the porch....moved furniture, etc... I'm very pleased with my progress. Yes, there were still mosquitoes and I've picked 3 ticks off of myself, but it was worth it. Also, while putting the porch together,  I found 2 hurricane lamps with citronella candles, I lit them and I think they really helped to repel the bugs. Still need to get my plants out there and hook up the hoses & spray down the floor. It was actually hot out by the pond! Will be sunbathing soon. So thankful to get all that done and my knee is almost back to normal! Glad you had a less hectic day than usual. Sending my Bestie lots of love, hugs and kisses ♥️♥️♥️

So excited to have the lawn done!
DeLyle went above and beyond, he brought his push mower too, so was able to do much more than I thought he would. I made great progress on the porch and I just kept going! My knee held up and I'm feeling more positive than I have in a long time....like a black cloud has lifted. Was able to stay in the livingroom tonight til 10pm, when the mosquitoes came out again. Not as bad as they were on Wednesday,  but not pleasant to be around. Looking forward to tomorrow so I can continue working on the yard & porch. Need to get the hose hooked up to fill the pond and have my happy place set up. Thanks for spotting those water dragons! This quest is tedious....I still need to spot a lemur and I need to attract a unicorn x2. It's so sweet that Sis still loves hearing the story, it's a favorite of mine too. Hello Susan… been busy with nothing in particular, just normal everyday things. Piper is doing better with potty training. Still needs lots of improvement but it’s headed in the right direction. She’s using the potty pad less and going outside more. I’m paying very close attention to her so I can recognize her signals. The better weather is making it much easier. I’ve been so busy with appointments for the last week and a half. Today was the first day that I had nothing and it was nice. Lots of appointments make me anxious!! We went on a nice long walk this morning and I’m glad we did because it looks like it’s going to rain. Layne has a game tomorrow late morning and then I’m babysitting in the evening so my daughter and son-in-law can go to dinner with friends. Larry is leaving for camp when he gets out of work. This is the last weekend for turkey season. I hope you and Sadye are doing well. Sending love and hugs 💜
