Thanks for spotting my festive mouse

Good morning, Susan. I have never been to a Christmas market either. It sounds like fun. I hope you enjoy your time with your sister and nephew and his friend. It’s a cold one here this morning, 13°. Larry and I have to take Piper to the vet this morning for her final visit for her immunizations. He’s taking a half a day so he can go with me because our daughter cannot go with me today. She has been going with me so she could hold Piper. Enjoy your day, I’m glad that Ed is able to stay with Sadie.💜

Happy Thanksgiving, Susan. We are going to our son-in-law’s sister’s house for dinner. She started inviting us when my Mom was in the nursing home. She has a big house and it is full of extended family. She is the sweetest person. Her and her husband have 2 daughters. The younger was born this past June. I’m sorry Sayde is still not 100% yet. We worry so much about our little fur babies. Penny is still not warming up to Piper as we had hoped. She is better but not as good as can be. I’m at a loss and don’t know how to help the situation. Piper does well at night. She sleeps and is happy to see us in the morning. She uses her puppy pads good too. I’ve tried taking her out a few times. We are getting snow overnight and it’s bitter cold now so Larry said to wait until either she’s bigger and has stuff that fits properly with a better understanding or until the weather breaks. She’s out there for a very long time just sniffing around. Right now my main goal is to have her and Penny bring the best of friends. It’s a lot of work,that’s for sure. I forgot what it was like to have a puppy…I’m tired, lol. I’m glad Sayde is going with you today. I hope you enjoy your Thanksgiving with your family 🦃🍗🍽️🥧

Hello my dear friend. How is Sayde doing?? Don't you blame yourself for what happened, none of it was your fault and you were only trying to help her. Sometimes you can't stop them wriggling, no matter how hard you try, and you only did what was safest for her by picking her up to get her out of the way of the neighbours' dogs. It could have been so much worse had they have gotten hold of her. Is she doing any better now? I sure hope so. I spent the last week getting the flare under control, whcih it is now, so this week I've been resting, but I did have 2 days when I did some deep cleaning (couldn't resist) and I made a start on my Christmas shopping - only online, but I prefer that nowadays than having to go trawling round the shops through the crowds, so give me online every time. I do like the little Christmas markets though, so I'm sure we'll find some of those. How is your sister and your niece? Well I'm off to my bed now. Sleep well when you go Susan. Hello Susan, I’m sorry it has been so long since I got back to you. I kind of feel like I’m living in a snow globe. I don’t know if I’m coming or going most days. Piper is sleeping through the night so I am grateful for that. She has been since day three so I can’t complain. I just like to keep a close watch on her to make sure she’s not getting into anything and make sure she is using her puppy pads, which she is doing a great job. Penny is getting a little teeny tiny bit better every day with her. She’s still not a big fan, but I do see an improvement from day one. How is Sayde feeling? Did the prednisone help her at all? Have you had any other trouble with your neighbor with the dogs. I’m sorry that you have to deal with people like that. The weather is crazy right now. It has been pouring rain for about the last half hour and it is thundering and lightning so bad that both dogs were afraid. Piper was sleeping in her crate inside her pen with the door open. She came out of the crate and jumped out of the pen and came right over to me. Penny was sitting on top of the couch at my head and she jumped right down. We have been having some crazy weather here. Saturday Sprinkle for our Sweeties
Finished the intermediate quest, but thought I may as well do the easy. So still in the gardens. No calls have been made regarding the boiler. Mike wants to talk to his guy in person, so is going to go out to his place after he gets out of his sub job on Monday.  This is opening day of firearm deer season and everybody & their brother are out hunting. It's actually kind of warm today with a fine drizzle. Changed menu for today....so much leftover from our Indian meal yesterday, will reheat and cook up some brown rice to go with. Mrs. Bickerson started some sh*t last night and Mr. B responded with silent treatment.
Kind of an icy atmosphere at bedtime,  but this morning, we are carrying on like nothing happened.

Hello my dear friend! How are you? It's been so long since I've messaged you, for which I really am sorry. I never seem to have the time nowadays do do anything except go to work. As I work full time, by the time i get home and done the evening meal, it's  quick hour to tidy up, then time for bed. Weekends are spent doing the housework and laundry. There never seems to be enough time and I feel like I'm always chasing my tail. Well, enough of me moaning. How are things with you my lovely? How is that adorable Sayde? I hope she's all fine and dandy. Hugo is great, such a sweetheart. I'm having a Crohns Disease flare up at the moment, my Doctor has signed me off work for 2 weeks, so whilst I'm getting it under control I have time to rest and recouperate AND play FL! Oh Susan,I’m so sorry to hear about Sayde. It is absolutely not your fault so please don’t feel that way. You were trying to protect her and keep her safe…which you did. I fear to think of what could’ve happened if you weren’t near enough to scoop her up. We have a leash law in our village. There is one particular guy who has 2 large dogs and he walks them off leash and I get so mad. As you know, we live on a corner with a very narrow back yard. When I take Penny out we start at the front but she gravitates towards the side that is next to the sidewalk and street. There have been times I’ve had Penny out and I’ve seen him coming from up the street so I take her down the back and to the other side yard. I just wonder what goes through peoples heads thinking that they don’t need to follow the law.  Today the girls are getting along better than yesterday and the day before. Tiny baby steps!! I’ve been so busy with Piper that I haven’t been watering much… mostly just putting new food out. It has been very cold, rainy, and windy here for about a week. We actually had hail this morning. I will say lots of extra prayers for Sayde…I hope her back heals quickly and she is feeling herself ag
