Randal, her hubby, told me a way to get home so I could miss the problems so why was I surprised when I found another closed road. It normally takes me just over and hour and a half to get to hers, going took over 2 hours and coming home 1 hour 50 minutes, like I said, I'm getting too old. I suppose she's better at it because it's near where she lives and if she can't use one road she knows how to get round the closures.
Apart from all of that it was lovely to see her, we may chat on the phone but it's not the same. We finished the puzzle and I might take it to the hall tomorrow.
The weather has been much cooler we're back to 50 again, still at least it's stayed dry and should get warmer by the end of next week.
I think I'd best get myself to bed as I'll be up earlyish to go to the hall, well early for me, about 7.
