Hi Liz,I was happy to hear from you. I am sorry about your mom being unwell. It certainly is a labor of love, caring for family. I hope she improves. In the years caring for my mom,trying to work,Ron took her to many appointments.I couldn't leave work at the convent. I always had a difficult relationship with her.Ron was so kind and caring. care giving is draining and please take care of you. We have birds coming back.I would love to see a hedgie! I put strawberry tops out and bits of the winter burlap wrap from my roses. I love birding and nature! Sending you hugs and Happy Earth Day!!   Prayers for your mom.

Oh,I forgot.I read about your deer. So pretty. We were missing our mama mallard and tonight we saw sweet tiny ducklings!!   We also went to a reserve and spotted an Eagles nest.

Hi Liz,  I hope you are well and enjoying Spring.I hope your mom is feeling better. We had an easy Easter as well. Charlotte and Claire and family took off for Cancun. I babysat the guinea pigs! We were treated to many treats from Mexico. The highlight was some Mexican vanilla,I love to bake with it!! I have taken every chance to work outside. The winter was so cold and awful!! I think Mark has some good ideas for your garden.Lizzy is recovered from her surgery and acts like a puppy. I hope you continue to enjoy our Spring. Sending hugs and will write again soon.
