Hi, Dianne!  Randy says "woof" to Lizzy!  He's been having some back leg problems.  Last evening, Don put him in bed with me.  I don't think he wanted to jump up so kept walking to the closet to look around.  :(  We won't play catch with him for a while to see if he mends.  Our "walk in" at Quest didn't work out so well this morning, so fasting was not much fun.  Our on line appt., now is Thursday....so we get to do it all over again.  Ha ha!  I like coffee in the mornings!  King Charles really had them on their feet!  I'll try some coffee grounds near the base of the rosebush!  Thanks for the tip!  Better get a bit of work done around here.  Take care!  xxx

I kept asking Don what kind of surgery is Sandy having...and we both suspected it was intestinal.  Nope, she was having uterine bleeding.  They will let her know next week what the biopsy will show, but the nurse told her it looked normal to her.  Oh, and Tyler must be starting his treatment this coming week.  Take care & don't work too hard!  :)  xxx

P.S.  We're waiting to hear from Eric, Sandy's youngest son, regarding her surgery today. 

Hi Dianne, I'm really pleased to hear that Lizzy is back to her old (young) self! And that you enjoyed your treats from Mexico. How lovely to see little ducklings, and an eagle's nest - wow!
Unfortunately Mum is still struggling. I stayed with her last night and had so many health-related things to sort out for her this morning (doctor, prescriptions, physio, occupational therapist, home help, etc etc etc) that I'm exhausted now!
Outside it's looking very springlike now. We caught a hedgehog on the wildlife camera on Sat night, and Mum has badgers in her garden! The first few swallows are back from Africa, with lots of other migrant birds, and lots of nesting is going on! Such a wonderful time of year. I hope your weather is better now and you're enjoying spring. xx

Hi Dianne, we had a very simple Easter, thank you. My mum's not too well at the moment and her birthday was on Easter Sunday, so my sister and I went to visit her with presents and an Easter egg, and managed to cheer her up a bit!
Wow, Charlotte and Claire are having an exciting time! Lucky them! I hope they enjoy their trip.
Our weather is very 'April showers' at the moment - quite a bit of sun but showers too and still cold nights. The spring flowers are looking lovely though. Mark's planted the sweetpeas and some lettuce seedlings, we have tomato plants ready for planting when it warms up a bit, and we'll probably grow spinach and some other things too.
We have a family of 3 deer that visit the fields around our house and we see them regularly. Such a lovely sight in the early morning or at dusk.
I hope you're well and your garden is beginnning to look springlike! xx

We only have 2 weeks left here then we go home! I'll have to guide Bridget on starting up our gardens! I wish I could do it too but I can't anymore!:(
