Thank you Dianne. I have been rescuing cats since I was 3 1/2 yrs old and I will be turning 65 December 24th. I have had over 800 cats & kittens spay/neutered, all out of pocket with not much help from others. As I am getting older and on permanent disability, I have stopped taking in furbabies 3 years ago. I have 11 cats ages 5 yrs to 15 yrs, a 15 yr old long-haired chihuahua and a hen. After they all pass  away, I will be done with rescuing. It has become to much for me physically and emotionally.

I am a Bengals fan when they play well which is not very often.  So I’m not a true fan.  I moved to Ohio 22 years ago…a transplant from the NY city area.  I’ll root for a NY team more than the Bengals.  I do like living in Ohio.  Less people, less
expensive, less traffic and less chaotic

Hi, Dianne!  Oh, no!  We've been in that situation before.  Once our 2nd  large boxer, Evander, pulled Don off his feet and was dragged along the street.  Don had a scraped knee and then the latest style jeans!  LOL  Boxers are very strong dogs.  I could walk our first boxer, Jaedee.  She was not as tall and would keep her nose to the ground.  The best walker.  Poor you, with the scraped face.  Your daughter must have a good phone that she can clean up boo boos.  :)  I don't know how to do that!  Happy to hear the recital was really nice and you were able to have your picture taken with the girls.  :)  Such good memories!!!  Take care!  xxx  P.S.  Randy has been feeling good.  He's still ornery, though!

Hi, Dianne!  I'd like to post more cactus photos.  Every time I think about downloading photos, something else gets in the way.  Maybe tomorrow.  We've had some pretty sunsets and rtavels to Las Vegas last week.  My niece's daughter, Olivia, is getting married to Luke tomorrow in Chardon, Ohio.  :)  Should be a big day for the family!  Hope you get some warm weather soon.  Ours is "cookin'"!  Today it was 95 degrees.  Tomorrow only 87.  It will feel like a cold front has passed through.  Ha ha!  Take care over there.  Happy Memorial Day Weekend.  xxx

Congratulations to the girls on their scholarship - that's amazing, but well deserved, I'm sure! I hope they enjoy their camps.
I do hope your flowers and veggies are surviving all that cold and wet weather. Ours are loving the heat, but Mark is having to water everything almost every day. We did have a good downpour the other night, but it wasn't enough really. Still, we're loving the sunshine! How funny that our weathers are opposite. Probably down to the jet stream. Let's hope things change on both sides of the pond soon! xx

We had a lovely weekend, thank you - it was pretty hot here! Too hot to sit in the garden for long, as we don't have any shade until the late afternoon. We had one wonderful thunderstorm and downpour last week, but otherwise it's still really dry - one of our driest springs on record. Quite worrying for the environment and wildlife, as well as farmers and gardeners :-(.
Did I tell you we had robins nesting in our garden? Five chicks fledged, and at least three are still hopping round our garden, being fed by mum & dad. They're so cute! We also have baby pied wagtails, which are like miniature roadrunners the way they run around! Have you got any baby birds in your garden?
I'm so happy you're enjoying being near the girls. It does sound as if they're keeping you busy! xx
