Don went to the gym, but was approached by someone wanting to know if someone named so-and-so Baker lived in the neighborhood.  They had a really nice car, but he still didn't feel comfortable until they left.  I hope they find who they are looking for, but Ruth keeps telling us about people who are doing burglaries around here.  I'm not letting anyone in the house.  Ever!

Hope you have fun doing the puzzles and I'll get back into them after Sandy's visit.  I just can't think about it right now.  Believe me, I'm missing working on one. 

I've got a new shirt to try on later from QVC...and also a Better Homes and Gardens Magazine to read.  Maybe I'll check it out now!  Take care!  xxx

Have a good day tomorrow!  We don't have any plans, but Don is going to start refinishing a Nagshead rope/wood chair that I've had for years.  The wood needs refinished but think I can save the rope and hope it's not too far gone.  Was going to put it out for the trash or hope someone would want it, but it is really good wood.  That will give him something to do for a while. 

They are still working on the pool.  We figure out they are making it all the same depth & still needed to extract more dirt.  Geesh that's a lot of dirt.  Since it gets hot so quickly in the afternoons, they have allowed some construction to get started at 6:00 a.m.  But usually the lawncare workers start no earlier than 7:00 a.m.  It's really humid out there (for us) today.  So 85 feels like 93.  I pruned back one small purple lantana and came in sweaty.  That's it.  I'll stay inside out of the sunshine.
