Sorry when you left your notes I was fighting over a 50 minute twin chick. Was alone for 28 minutes then someone comes in a hoses. Made me mad so I hosed back. I stayed there and got the chick 50 minutes later.  But it didn’t help.

I’m trying to figure out if a chick has been in there before and dropped off if it could come back again. If it’s a new chick every time then I can eliminate all those that have been in the vase prior. So I just spotted the Kingfisher and the ones I gave already had are the
magpie
Blue Jay,
Crane
Jackdaw
Woodpecker
Nightingale

So that leaves quite a few and some of the easiest to do. Like wren and wagtail and chaffinch.

You didn’t answer me in Mary’s garden.  I was trying to see if that chick was what I needed for my vase and I asked if you needed it for your quest. In the meantime someone water red and got it.  I just happened to water again and there was a twin in the other plate.

I did a birdbath...and the last feed in the bath was a woody...and of course it nested in the empty nest. I had to shoo it away using up one use. Then I put out regular food by mistake. I thought that waxwings ate seed...so got a million and one worms...only the waxwing chick eats seed. Who knew?

hoping to attract a kingfisher chick...you know the one? Hahaha. And a waxwing to nest. But the darn butterfly wants to appear so I dumped the platter and will see if this food appeals more to the waxwing.
