Oh, Sandy sent me a jigsaw today!!!  It's a boxer puzzle!  Maybe I'll glue it together once done.  Pretty cute...1,000 pieces.  Take care & I'll yak at you tomorrow!  xxx

When we were driving back from lunch at Chipotle, two fire trucks went zooming up 160 and we saw them turn at homestead.  We could see really black smoke in the sky.  Out of curiosity, which we don't usually do, we drove towards the area.  Turned out three RV's were on fire.  Two were totally destroyed.  So sad.  I sent you an article that was on Facebook regarding the fire.

Not sure the workers are finished with Rowdy's house.  Randy has fun letting them know they are not welcome over there.  I made oatmeal cookies again.  We went through the 4 dozen pretty quickly, so stood in the kitchen baking again.  Then had to make dinner...cleaning up after that, too.  My hip started hurting really bad so decided to take an Aleve this evening.  Maybe I'll sleep better and not get up with Theraworx for leg cramps tonight.  One can hope!

Hi, Janet!  We thought $5,000 was a lot, too.  Last summer when another house was being painted nearby by another company, the owner quoted on a card $3,500.  We will need ours done in a year and a half if the painting is supposed to last 10 years.  OMG....we only lived in the first two houses in Las Vegas for 2 years each.  The first house had TWO air conditioners.  Can't imagine how much that would have cost to buy again.  I'm happy here! 

My brother-in-law, Tom, called me today.  I didn't think he left a message and called him hoping it wasn't about Dorothy, my sister.  Well, we finally found the message he left (my phone is very difficult to operate), and she is back in the hospital with a kidney stone.  :(   My ex had a terrible attack once & I called the emergency squad.  Sometimes they just come on all the sudden.  Scared me so much.  I hope to talk to him tomorrow to see how she is.  Sent her a card recently and a small note to keep in touch since the "messenger" works on and off.
