My Daughter lived in the countryside until and we brought her an above the ground pool 14 ft round nearly 5 ft deep , so the kids had something to enjoy over the summer,with us helping  with the maintenance and cleaning it’s as good as new , it’s wonderful for the kids , it takes at least 3 of us to put up and take down ,…  doesn’t cost more than a £1 a day  to run the filtration system.  Now she’s moved 10 doors away from us Hubby now is a frequent swimmer haha.That was lovely your son got to do that, we have snorkelled in the Maldives, we did go to Australia a few years ago with a view to staying on heron island part of the Great Barrier Reef, but they had the worse rain in a lot of years the Bryce highway was impassable  so we had to cancel,  such a shame, enjoy your evening sleep well later feels cool again now the sun has gone down, night night xx
