Kraftwerk? Oh my... That's a while ago! I've not heard a mention of them for years! Do you really think you'll sleep through the performance?!
The dogs are mostly excited about hunting out the peacock poop but it's all gone now . Dogs are gross 🤢

There's altogether too much of Americans buying up European companies and promptly running them into the ground or closing them outright. Americans bought Avon tyres last year, promising the loyal customers that the tyre stocks would remain the same. They immediately discontinued the Roadrunner motorcycle tyre and have yet to provide a replacement... Traditional family brewery in Cornwall... Shut down... A host of other buyouts here in France too. Stopping now before full blown rant develops lol
I hope you enjoy the evening out anyway, even if it's not quite your thing xx

The internet is back, but we were warned there would be disruption to the service all week. I've plenty to do outside so it doesn't matter too much. I'm still dismantling the peacock containment fencing 🤣 then there some lengths of ancient fencing which I'll replace while I've got the tools out there. The dogs are excited to have a whole new area of garden to investigate!
I'm trying to spot indigo chameleons but it's proving very difficult (especially with no internet all day).
Wonder why your company wants to switch to Microsoft? I've nothing against Microsoft but Google really is the leader in search engines these days, and links with everything...x

Hi Sam, Josh says to pass on to Imogen a massive well done and thank you too. It usually follows the kindest /gentle folk get picked on and bullied at school. l suffered a bit because l defended a girl who was not from a well off family , her mum was a widow and things were tight money wise. l was lucky l had rich cousins who passed me down their clothes. So l knew what it was like to be less well off. We had all the basics , clean home and clothes and simple but nourishing food. I didnt fight back often. l just looked right at them and either dismissed their efforts to intimidate or outright laughed at them. Bullies are cowards l learned that early  (5 brothers). l am glad Imogen is getting to grips with life , so needs only the occasional session. Yes one never knows the story behind the smile. Little things indeed acts of kindness can change a day or even a life for the better. l am glad Josh thinks like that , l am not saying he followed my example ( l did a different kind of fund raising and voluntary work) before l retired. I am pretty sure it was his own experiences that shaped the man he is today . Like you l am very proud. Have a lovely day Hun , chat later . Tuesday is my busy day so best get on lol xxx

Am in town where there's internet... I've seen the men up the mast working away. In the rain, poor things x

Good morning 🌅 our storm amounted to a shower during the night, just enough to bring insects to the surface for the chickens and wild birds. Chateau, for no reason, other than now I also see Dick Strawbridge . Is that an eye worm?
As it's wet outside maybe I'll have to do housework...x

Hi Sam, l think its important to give praise and or compliments to folk that deserve it. One never knows what drives them to do things , or how they are feeling in themselves. Who knows it could make their day and for me it just feels the right thing to do . There is another reason other than it being the right thing, but there is nothing l wish to put in the public domain, its nothing really bad . Oh thats wonderful Imogen enjoyed the experience and probably made new friends too. l am really happy to read that.
Yes Josh is a wonderful person so generous of his spare time , and encourages his own amateur team as well as the cities football team to participate and or give backing to all his fund raising events. That is marvellous that your hubby and daughter are able to recognise when things are not bobbing along well and are able to go get help. Absolutely awareness is half the battle, the stigma is from lack of understanding and the feeling of being unable to help. By far to me the best thing is to just listen,  just be there and make no judgements . It is a fact that almost everyone at some point in their life will suffer depression ... causes vary of course too many to mention here.

I have a Mason too but he's a poodle. The only games he plays involve sticks and balls (no not polo) lol

No sign of a storm. About 15 raindrops when I stepped out to see if the chickens had put themselves away. Some were inside but 3 are still trailing about. They're not bothered about storms or rain. They avoid strong sun and they're late on parade when it's frosty... The peacocks hate rain and run to shelter as soon as it starts... In their new home they have a medieval pigeon house to live in for now. Hopefully they'll adopt it as a shelter for rainy times even when they're allowed out into the chateau grounds! x
