Hi Sam, l am a little better today thank you Hun.
Aw thats lovely , its good to catch up with old friends. Its so sad your friend is not now coming every year.  l am sorry that your friends Mum has passed , its understandable though that it may be hard for her to come over. Yes thats the thing with good  friends time and distance makes no difference when you meet up again.
Lots of weeds here too , more in the front garden as l have been keeping the back garden pretty much under control. I am quite good at telling weeds from plants, though sometimes pull the plants along with the weed as they entwine around the flower plants. Yes some do look pretty, and a lot are good for medicinal purposes too. No 6 more plants to pop in, but l want three mini fir trees removed from their barrels and transplanted in the borders and that will take someone strong to do the digging for me. I need more soil too to refill the barrels , so Saturday/Sunday it is then lol... i hope.
Love and Hugs  Hun xx

I don't need to cross any roads this morning. I'm getting on a bus right outside and meeting a friend for a walk round Crystal Palace park. Should be safe enough lol x

Look right... No I'm sure that's what's catching me out 😂 it's ok if there's traffic but strangely confusing if there isn't x

Hi Sam, i am really sad for her being so poorly for such a long time, its finally taken its toll on her "warrior" attitude, she has pushed through so much and still has more medical things to endure. My neighbours are the best we could wish for. She doesnt live thats far away in distance , but bus transport to get there is not the best. Then its a long walk uphill , hence we need a taxi or get a friend to take us.
l always find that after a good time, you are right the good hormones drop. Wow good for them , we are almost 80 's ourselves. Until Covid we were always up for a party , even after for a while but more recently myself more than hubby l still suffer bouts of fatigue . l do push on with chores and rest when needed.
How lovely to meet up for a meal with your friend from Oz. We missed our family friend when she came over last year for a flying visit on her way to Ireland , she did pop in to my sons though so l saw the phone video of her and our friend from up North he came down too.
I am ok thanks Hun, a little tired but l have just come in from planting more flowers while it was dry. Love and Hugs xx

Foul weather jacket is on and off several times each outing. I'm beginning to feel like a Russian doll, peeling layers on and off.
I can't tell you what a joy it is to walk about the streets and see people and shops lol. I'm worried I'm going to be killed crossing the road because I keep looking the wrong way...x

Easyjet were super relaxed and didn't even look at my bag... We'll see how it goes for the next flight with them on Thursday. I've seen several people pulled up by the baggage police during boarding...lol
Have a great day. Sun is shining here and I've brought my foul weather jacket...x

Hi Sam, i do feel better thanks Hun, l had a good nights sleep (for me lol. ). Its odd but life get in the way , with nasty twists and turns (health) it goes like that sometimes with families. My sis is so very poorly but bless her heart, until recently she would come here to visit me. I get to visit thanks to my neighbour occasionally will drive us over to see her. Thats the one l talk all the time with on messenger. She updates me on hospital appointments and results so l worry less. Not possible but l dont tell her that of course.
No wonder you are all still recovering from the happy time spent with family celebrations. I always find when l get to catch up with family at celebrations l enjoy it immensely, but the next day l find l feel a bit low mood..do you? . Have a good evening Hun. Sorry its a bit of a late reply, it was our only dry day so l have been out with some more flower plugs planting . Another 12 left for the front garden maybe or the back kitchen garden l havent decided yet. Much love xx

Good morning, in the drizzle. Does make packing very troublesome, but I'm going where there are shops so I can buy stuff if necessary! Spent most of yesterday afternoon reinforcing some fencing as one determined chicken wants to be in the previous peacock enclosure since I've taken down all the high fencing. So I've reinstated some medium high fencing but she was in there again last night when I went to shut them up... Daft bird.
I'm looking at my small bag and wondering if easyJet will think it's small enough to fit under the seat or want to charge me at the airport for a medium cabin bag... Oh well I'll find out later I guess!
I hope you're feeling ok this morning after a weekend of partying. How did the inlaws bear up? x
