I need to attract a Cardinal, so better be on the hunt pretty soon.  I opened the door and then did a few things...folded clothes, took the trash out, etc.  Did I say I'm tired, too? 

Watching a cookie baking show.  OMG...there are a gazillion cookies waiting to be made out there...ha ha!  I'm done for this year.  Take care!  xxx

Hi, Janet!  It's turned very windy all of a sudden.  We saw no sunshine until 5 minutes before sunset.  Just a sliver of light shining on the house across the street.  Now it's dark.  :(  I've been busy all the live-long day.  I wanted to get started with making, then baking them early afternoon.  Well, Don made lunch and then wanted to "do something".  When we came home there was something on the front porch bench.  Jay & Yolanda across the street had given us a Christmas card and a 3-wick candle.  :)  A first  from them, so I gathered up some cherry coconut bars and some teacakes in a couple of tins for them.  Don delivered those and the ones for Bob and Mary while getting the mail.
I made chili for our dinner, so I did lots of standing up all afternoon.  My hip feels better after taking an Aleve this morning.  It feels good to sit down. 

After all the work done yesterday, no one showed up next door.  There are piles of dirt on the outside of the wall but not in the street this time.  Hope the rains don't wash it away.  :(
