I did a little bit of carving late afternoon before dinner.  The door will be a pumpkin shape.  Don has these little googly eyes that I'll use for eyeballs, and then carved the usual triangle nose and smiley mouth with three teeth.  At least it's a start.  Maybe a ghost will be in the window above the door.  Whooooa!  I'm getting scared now.

Hi, Janet!  Sounds like you had a very nice day and some nice dessert at your house!  Wow, I'd love that heart attack on a plate.  :)  Yum!!!! 

We've had a lot of bad weather in the mid-west and along the gulf coast and east coast.  We sure could use some of that rain.  There's a fire going on close to Las Vegas.....zero containment.  Now we have a fire warning from 11 tomorrow morning until 11 at night.  Must be a windy day tomorrow.  The humidity level is so low.  When a fire gets going, it just travels fast.  We've not had much moisture the past couple of months. 

This morning a hot air balloon had a hard landing.  There were 10 people in the basket.  Some were air lifted via Mercy Air (helicopters) and some had severe burns from the propane tank that exploded.  Don said he'd never go up in a hot air balloon.  I don't think I would either now.  I get antsy just thinking about the propane tank for Rowdy's pool being at the corner of our yard and Rowdy's. 

Randy is snuggling with Don on the sofa.  Well, he tried to steal Don's seat and Don had to squeeze in to his normal spot on the sofa.  Randy's not much of a snuggler really.  :(
