Wow, I don't think I know anyone else who makes their own hot cross buns - bet they taste lovely!  I do like a hot cross bun! :)  Glad you have lots of fun things planned for the weekend and don't let the snow get in the way. Enjoy!
Mum's ankle seems ok now thanks, but she's having issues with a toe - found out it must have been broken from a different fall a couple of years ago. If it's not one thing it's another! Hope you're keeping well. :)
