Hello Jennifer, last night I realised that I had read the Lee Child book. This afternoon I started 'Pavilion in the Clouds' by Alexander McCall Smith.  Set in Ceylon. I love his books. As I write to you the clouds and winds are gathering. Hopefully I get some rain. It is nearly my bed time. Enjoy your time with your friend.
