But when they settle down to sleep

A gentle song they sing

Sweet Queen of Night

Soft silver stars

We're glad you are so near

We seek our beds

We rest our heads

Without a moment's fear

On thistledown

In hidden nooks

We watch the waning light

The joys of sleep

Upon us creep

It’s been another day of crazy weather here down south. We’ve had sun, wind, rain, hail and a short thunderstorm! I had nearly finished my shopping this morning and just as the food was scanned the shop had a power cut! It took a few minutes to reboot all the tills and then pay for my shopping! I’m so thrilled I’ve managed to track down a much loved vintage knitting pattern on Vinted, it should arrive tomorrow hopefully! Chilly evening, but cosy in front of the tv. Night Susan xx
