Hi Cath, late sprinkles.   Was at a birthday barbeque this afternoon for my friend's mom's 85th birthday   I did not get any blackberries!! they did not have any on the truck.  Sigh.  So maybe I will do strawberries. Blackberries do not grow in Minnesota and they are so very expensive at the grocery store.   I hope you had a good weekend!

Good evening Cath, been a nice day here. Nat and the kiddies came as Mark was at work. We did some jobs in the garden before the really hot days start, we’re still eating strawberries lol. I even managed to read some of my book in the garden late afternoon. Phils had some chocolate and socks :) Hope Geds had a good day.

Hello Cath ~ yes busy indeed... The heat has been a catastrophe for the fish and half of them have died, and desperate birds of prey have had two of my chickens. Then there's the watering of the garden. Up to a certain point I take the view that the plants must prove themselves drought resistant but sometimes they do need a bit of help.xx

Sunday sprinkles...lovely warm day around the Farigaig.
Decided against a walk but sat out on my veranda and read a chapter or two accompanied by a couple of cappuccino...too warm for me to be out in the sun at present...?
Last night, it was daylight until I went to bed near midnight and at just gone 1am certain beasties including the wee feathered ones were chatting, singing and being very loud towards the Farigaig Forest backed on to by my garden...it didn't go dark but slightly dusky...almost some form of daylight for 24 hrs....very normal at this time of year for around 3/4 wks...in December of course it is rarely light before 9am and gets dark around 3.45pm plus...
Each season is very different, can go a little wild but so wonderful to have as my home...so very special...
