Yeah, I'm more like trying to chase spring, except then my seasonal allergies can be a problem. Maybe I need to chase mild winters :). I used to think about moving south in the US and then every summer it'd be so hot and I was like absolutely not. Must move north :)
Haven't really been following the world cup. Except what I see in passing on Facebook. I imagine an England vs France final would be quite the rivalry.

It's like 20-25 here, but it's been humid/muggy. New Zealand would be epic. Thursday I take the train to Lithuania for a week and a half. then its to Belgrade and in august I think they run in the 30s. Ick. But unfortunately I think weather is only going to get crazier.

We're off to Devon for two nights , to stay in a little, very old, stone thatched cottage in kingsbridge with hubbies cousin and her husband. They are both really lovely so I'm looking forward to it. Saturday were off to London to watch 'The Play that Went Wrong ' at the Theatre (Ben, our son is coming too and it's first theatre trip so I'm really excited for him) and then we have tickets for Lords to watch India v England on Sunday. So a really lovely busy week xx

Our friends have just come back from Alsace. They really loved it but commented how warm it was. Think we might forget the booze and just fill the car up with fans!!

We watched the England rugby yesterday. It was a good game, and then watched the football. As you say, there is no comparison between the two sports or the men who play them. Rugby is our preferred sport x

My mother in law climbed out her bedroom window and on to their conservatory window to clean it not long ago. She's 88. Hubbies banned her from doing it again but unless we lock her windows shut what can you do! .😀.

Yeah, I think they just figure the whole cabin for example is 6000. So its 3000 a piece tor 2. And then one person gets to pay both at 6000. Bummer. Often its a little less than full 2nd cost. As it should be, one person eats less food, uses less resources etc. But its best when you can find a zero supplement or less than 25%. When I went to south america, it was a 36 day cruise listed for 3200 and then it was only about 200$ extra for solo supplement (about 1 month before the cruise)/ At 3400 that was less than 100 a day. I could swing that. If it was a full solo supplement fee at over 7000, I wouldn't pay that.

Ben, our son, has gone to Stuttgart for a boys weekend and our daughter and friends, plus fiancé are off to Wales for a week so we have a quiet household incoming. Just need to remember to feed and water their house rabbits, Aka Floppa and Sienna.   Two rather sweet mini Lops x

Cruise to Australia would be amazing! It is my last continent left to get to. 3 months would be quite an adventure. Whenever I look at the trips or cruises there it's been cost prohibitive. Especially cruising. They charge so much more for a solo. There is a world cruise a friend was looking at next January for about 117 days I think, 19k USD but then it was about 40k if you were alone! It went to some unusual places. Pretty sure Australia was on the list. But I couldn't justify the cost even if I found a roomie
