THANK YOU, SUSAN.  YOUR SCARVES SOUND LOVELY.  I HOPE TO LEARN HOW TO CROCHET THIS WINTER AND ALSO WISH TO CARVE OUT SOME TIME TO READ A FEW BOOKS. MY FUR BABIES SEEM TO THINK IT IS THEIR JOB TO PREVENT ME FROM THESE  ENDEAVORS.  I PLACED MY LICENSE TAGS ON MY CARS TODAY SO NOW I AM LEGAL FOR ANOTHER YEAR.  MY DRIVEWAY IS LIKE AN ICE SKATING RINK BUT I WAS ABLE TO WALK ON IT WITHOUT FALLING AND BREAKING  MY HIP OR MY NECK.  THIS WAS MY ACCOMPLISHMENT FOR MY DAY.  PRAYERS AND LOVE SENT YOUR WAY.  ENJOY YOUR SUNDAY WITH YOUR TWO WHISKERED ONES.  BLESSED BE.

Hello.  the scarves sound lovely :)  I'm knitting a light weight cotton for my niece.  I just found out they're moving south.  They will live just 2 1/2 hours south west of me in Georgia.  I'm over the moon excited.
So glad to hear Neil is doing well.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend :)

Saturday sprinkles from a quiet and restful Farigaig. Over night the heavens created a deluge of rain, so much so. that I thought we would wake to being on an ARK floating alongside Nessie!! Haven't seen or heard rain like that for many a year here. The feathered guests all looked rather drenched as they flew to the Bird Table and feeding stations this morning but those arriving late afternoon looked quite normal, heehee:) Noted our first Siskin of the year plus Goldcrest...whereas the Siskin will stay through to Autumn the Goldcrest will leave during late Summer. So lovely to see new guests (feathered ones, that is) arrive. It will be 1 year in around 6 weeks since moving down to Nessie's Loch permanently and selling the Guesthouse in Inverness. Do often wonder what type of guests are visiting and from where they have travelled but do we miss the Business? We both say "no"!! Washing and ironing all done. Neil having a Walker Texas Ranger moment and me, reading Regency Romance...xx

Damp Friday evening sprinkles from the Farigaig. So wish that Nessie would stop thrashing her neck and tail and keep them under control...haha. Neil having another good day but the other whiskered one is up and down like a yoyo. We see the Vet shortly for his Birthday check up and will talk through his medication to see whether a slight alteration may be required. Managed to finish yet another chunky scarf this afternoon whilst watching TV...could keep this one with it's silver thread running through the multi coloured wool but it is spoken for and expected, sadly. Have started another scarf this evening in both black and cream yarns...also wanted by Family :) Will soon be time for making hand knitted bunnies, chicks and bears...younger ones do like them. I wonder what colours will be asked for this year? Having finished the Fiona Valpy novel then it's on to Regency Romance...bit of light reading for a few days :) Have a great weekend all xx

Hi Susan Glad to read your husband is feeling a little better. It’s always so satisfying when you get peace to tidy a cupboard and get things back to normal. Had a good day at work today but so glad tomorrow is Friday. Enjoy your chicken dinner and have a lovely evening xx

Evening sprinkles for Valentine's Day...all seems very quiet in the Snug...just the soft snoring from the whiskered one...no, not McMurdo...haha. Neil had his 3rd round of Degarelix this morning, injected in to the abdomen and although he is ok, a little snooze was in order. Made the almond cherry cakes as mentioned yesterday but iced with strawberry shortcake flavour icing and topped each with a cherry. Should add before I forget that the other whiskered one is snoozing happily in his pumpkin :) Decided it was time to clean and clear my cake cupboard...where I keep flours, dried fruit and anything to do with baking. Hasn't been done since the week before Christmas so was in truth, rather untidy. Took an hour to do properly but so very pleased as I now know exactly what I have without guessing when at the shops :) Banished from the kitchen once again as Neil is cooking a surprise chicken dish for Valentine's Day supper xx
