Evening sprinkles from a lovely warm Snug...has been a cold but lovely bright day with little or no wind over Nessie's home. Neil went to the GP this morning to give the update on his new meds and for more blood tests...he has been asked to go to the Surgery (Wednesday) for results, chat and where to go next with the problem of the leg. Just had to laugh...McFuzz was not impressed at my singing along to Alexa's selection from James Last which in this case was Always on my Mind...he walked at speed from the Snug and returned 10 minutes later to find me burst in to song again with Let it Be...Neil said that McFuzz must think me in pain...thank you...hmmm...not good if an ex music teacher can't hold a tune...haha :) The dining Room table is chock-a-block with 1st and 2nd batch of goodies to sort for the young ones this Festive Season...cards sorted but not written and yearly letter and photograph all done. It's really should I finish the knitting or do the other bits and bobs...well, if I haven't started the cards by Monday...that's when I will have to make an effort to start :) So much to do this year and although I do buy things from the supermarkets then much of what is for eating is homemade. Have a lovely evening xx

Is the doxycycline for the cellulitis?   It was the only anti biotic that shifted my infection  when I had a bad leg some years back x

My daughter Juli has had her surgery and is home feeling pretty good. Daughter Jennifer came out early to take me to the hospital and brought me home about 9pm last night. I was so happy to be there but sad that she had to push me in a wheelchair all day since I am still fighting this dizziness. I do feel less so today so hopefully it will go away completely. I am concentrating on the good of this week and so thankful Juli is ok. The surgery was more complicated than planned but she is feels great! Quite different from how I felt when I had same surgery way back in 1987. Thank ful for the advances made in medical procedures since then. Going to try to catch up on FB games and some DVR-ed material this weekend and thinking about trying to drive again tomorrow and see how it feels and if I feel safe doing it. Have a great weekend!

Friday evening sprinkles from our warm and cosy Snug within the Farigaig :) I told McMurdo that he was a greedy guts...he has had more chicken soup plus a platter of steamed salmon and is still looking for more...he always has one of the Felix biscuit varieties plus a dish of water on his food tray so know he is far from starving...haha. Neil went to see our GP a couple of hours ago...more tablets...this time Doxycycline and Naproxen if necessary. In depth blood tests for Monday plus X Ray and Doctor's again on Wednesday...he is looking brighter but still trying to hang on to his reins for fear he will do too much again! Someone's tummy must be rather laden...he is now snoozing in prone position within inches of the Burner...my goodness, will he move at speed if there is too much crackling and banging from within...a few of the logs were doing just that this morning...haha. Neil's daughter Karen returns to the UK from Berlin this weekend to take up a Research Fellowship at Nottingham University leading to her becoming a Lecturer there, brilliant news...xx

Good afternoon Susan, antique or not. I am sure it is beautiful, and a pleasure to have. Busy here doing cleaning. I like my Mother God rest her soul, like to admire my handy work when it is done. I remember she would open and close the fridge /or oven and tell me it was smiling at her. Lots to do, see you in the gardens.

Thank you for your visit. I do enjoy your narratives . I keep thinking about your tea cabinet, it must be an antique and well loved. Thank you for sharing your day.

Has been a lovely bright and sunny day along the Farigaig with a conveyor belt of wee feathered beasties visiting the Bird Table and feeding stations...Finches, Tits, Robins, Siskin and Sparrows with the occasional Mistle Thrush and Blackbird :) Have made an Italian style sauce to go with pasta for supper with simple fresh fruit and a little cream for dessert. Both whiskered ones are snoozing as I tap away here...will wake Neil with a nice cuppa shortly and leave the other whiskered one for a little bit longer...he had a platter of homemade flaked chicken soup and has been horizontal since...have a lovely evening all xx

Just a quick sprinkle this evening....after cleaning and clearing the Kitchen/Family room Island cupboards then I'm shattered....needed to be done...have the Tea cupboard (yes, I really do have one) to do tomorrow afternoon :) Neil having a much quieter day with leg up on the pouffe and McWhisker chops is in prime position once again in front of the Burner. Going to catch up on Blue Bloods this evening...have a good night, everyone....xx
