Spotted a Mallard, TY xx

Good morning Susan 🌻 yeah that's what I'd decided that mama will know when she's done sitting.  She's  such a little sweetie. She got off the nest yesterday and got another bath and I told her 'let me go get you some food' and she followed me up the steps on my porch - I think she'd have come in the house if I'd invited her!  Raccoon eluded me again last night but I'm getting wise to his tricks.  Maybe tonight will be the night!  🦝 Today is my volunteer at the office day.  Our forecast is exactly like yours and I'm doing the same - gonna enjoy this milder weather before the heat hits us next week.  Still haven't gotten the new pool up.  Way too busy to be tackling that on my own right now.  Hopefully soon...   Sending all our best - have a beautiful day 🐾💙🍀

Morning sprinkles....well Sis is really miffed at me. Last night we were out doing business before bed and there was a fledgling sparrow and Sis spotted it and went right after it. I was able to get the little bird and I brought it inside to keep it safe until this morning. Sis wanted that baby bird so bad. So I had my bird cage up in the attic so I put the baby in with some paper towels and planned on letting loose this morning. Well I got up while Sis was still sleeping and I thought I would get the baby out before she got up. Well when I tried to get it out of the cage she started carrying on, which Sis heard so I was on my way to come back in and there was Sis looking out the door, watching everything. So I got her out and she wanted to go under her ramp where I put the baby in some dry leaves and so that it could get behind the steps for some safety. So therefore Sis is mad that I didn't let her have that baby bird. She is a hunter I swear. Sorry Amanda wasn't able to make it up. I know you still don't know if James took her only to call a bit later to tell Amanda to come get her. On Mondays they usually have concrete scheduled to pour, so he has to get things set up and ready
