Morning sprinkles....so many distractions already this morning. Ed just got home and he called and needed me do somethings for him before he got home. I'm just now finishing up here in the gardens. It's gonna be one  of those days with lots of interruptions of my plans. Oh well. I will get through it. It looks like you are doing well so far with the billy goats....keep it up bestie! Glad you got your taxes mailed and your items at the IGA. Are you up to start yard clean up. You have mentioned your knee, please do over do it and get that knee flared up again. I saw there is flood watch warnings...I'm really not surprised with all the snow you had this winter along with the rain coming. You have never mentioned any issues with flooding are you high enough that it won't affect you? I liked that caricature of us when we were kids. I called Kathy last night after I posted it and Susan I swear she cackled for 15 minutes....she was laughing so hard she couldn't even talk. She would start to say something and burst in laughter again. I mean full belly laugh. It was good to hear her laugh like that. Continued below...

Did you sleep well last night? I slept well but I was so dry I kept having to get a drink. I always take something to bed so I don't have to get up. I drank almost a full glass during the night. I need to get up and get things started I have so many irons in the fire I need to start finishing some of these tasks. I hope you have a good day. I just saw your morning post. Are you affected by the breaking of the dam. That is scary. I am not surprised with all the snow you have gotten this year. Yes Mooch's appointment is on Monday...we will a lot of questions for the vet. Especially the test results we have been waiting on for so long. Please take it easy if going outside. Ken is still having his up and down days. He'll have them for the rest of his life. A cavernoma is a nasty little critter.  Cavernomas are not yet understood by the medical profession. We did get to the movies last Saturday for the first time in ages. He had a good time doing that. We're hoping for a zoo day soon.

I'm taking liquid tumeric every day and still going to the gym 3 to 4 days a week. I look at how soon I'll be 79 and get nervous about it. I think that I am a bit scared about going into my 80s. My big sister will be 100 in September and she's in good shape for a 99 year old lady so maybe Ill follow the footsteps of all those women in my family like her. They lived into their 90s and were productive and well for the most part until they died.

You're an inspiration 🤗 My mum is like you. She's 73 as well and still works part time.
I hope to be as industrious and hardworking as you and her when I get to my 70s. I only say this because I have chronic pain issues and COPD. The pain issues started in my 40s. I get my determination from my mum so I try not to let anything beat me, medication and physio / exercise helps with stamina so I do manage quite well these days considering 😊

Oh yes I got some of it done thanks 🙏🏽 I still have a fair bit to do but the weather has been a miserable the past 2 days. Hopefully clear on Weds (my day off this week).

Yes we should try and chat sometime ahead. Tomorrow would be good if you don't have major plans. I want to calendar open in case Kathy has to take Molly in for test results. I think the vet may be waiting for Molly's next appointment which is not tomorrow, but the following Monday. I know we won't be going tomorrow, Kathy is keeping Jen home, although if the vet calls and wanting Kathy to go I may have to go sit with Jen, but I think Kathy would try and schedule for later in the week, so she won't have to go alone. But if tomorrow doesn't work we can take it day by day and go from there. Eyes are getting heavy and I'm ready to lay in my comfy bed and relax. Will meet you in Dreamland later. An icy storm!!!  Will Spring ever come for all of us?  It was rainy yesterday and today here. I was so cold today that my bones were aching :)
