We have to leave shortly for Ed's dr appt and run a few errands. Will finish my rounds and write then. No worries!

I hope front wall didn't get too long....but this what happened this afternoon. I was outside with Sis and Ed was home working in his garage, Sis was doing her business and had just finished and was just sniffing. All of a sudden a hear Ed yelling and stomping coming from behind me, I just reached down and pinned Sis where she stood, at that moment the next doors pit bull came about a foot from Sis and Ed was on his heels. I was scared and furious, so I told Ed to go over and address the situation. I got Sis in the house and went out to see what he was saying to them. This dog is the one I believe I have told you about, the ones who moved in a year ago with the heathen children, and leaves their trash and such in the yard for the dogs to tear up. The lady of the house, told Ed their fence was broken and she was home alone with the kids. Ed in a harsh voice told her, her fence being broken was not his problem and her being home alone was not his problem, but that if they didn't keep that dog in their yard he would take care of it.

. At that moment she said I can't catch it, the dog was still at large. I just happened to look up at their front porch and the dog was up there looking over the side into the backyard where Ed was talking to the woman, she immediately was on her way in to get the dog, as she was walking in I told her I would be contacting animal control about the situation. I did just that, he was already off work but he was going to investigate it tomorrow. I explained to the dog catcher, I was just lucky Ed was home and seen the dog. I also  explained that Sis has a previous back injury and would not get away from the dog if he were to attack. I'm not sure what will transpire but it was quite scary. I don't think I have ever seen that furious. Not the first time that dog has been in our yard and they need to contain it. Ed thinks the dog weighs about 70 lbs. I will have to be even more vigilant when we are outside. This all happened just in seconds. Anyway just wanted to fill in you. Grateful Ed was home that's for sure.

I know you have some chores you are wanting to get done either today or tomorrow. I was wondering if you might want a catch up on Thursday. I know it is going to be a tough day for you. I know our boy would it will be hard to find a pup who could even attempt to fill Ziggy's paws. Let me know. I may try and get outside this afternoon, I'm so tired I may not make it. With the struggle with Sis last night I wasn't able to get to sleep until about 3 am this morning. Will see how long I can make it without it hitting me. I am getting bored with Fairyland to be honest. I don't care for the pottery offerings and I just accumulate pots and need to buy more storage. Not really interested in any of the challenges I haven't finished yet. Just kind of keep putting food out, thinking something might inspire me. Night time sprinkles....It was a nice day here. I really need to get motivated to get outdoors and start getting ready to plant flowers. We didn't get any storms last night....just rain. We only got about an inch. It was partly cloudy today. Supposed to be really nice tomorrow. Yes Bobby and Dedra was there at Easter. She is doing exceptional I think. She is still wearing the back brace and neck brace but she has appointments this week and she is hoping she will get released to go back to work. I'm really not sure how to gauge that. I know she had just started this job and only worked 2 weeks when she had the accident. She was told if she wasn't back by the end of the month, they would let her go. So we are all hoping they will release her, or they will have a light duty job she might be able to do until she has a full release. I really don't have many plans for the week, just the outdoor stuff, house work, and battling with Sis over this food issue.

She has gone all day with nothing to eat. I have about had it with her and this new food. It is so expensive its $60 for 12 cans. Too expensive to waste. So I'm so frustrated with her that I have gotten mad about it and I am going to win this battle. I have a feeling this harder on me than it is on her. She has never been denied food, I always gave in, and offered her something different. Those days are over. I have a feeling she will start whining before long wanting something to eat, but what she will get offered is her breakfast from this morning. So you don't know when Kathy is able to come up? I know it has been a long time since she was able to come. Poor Amanda. I'm sure she is quite emotional not knowing what her future holds. Still praying for them. I can imagine those niggling thoughts are still just awaiting to for you to visit them again and get you all worked up. Hang in there Bestie....what plans have you got this week? Tysvm 4 spotting my OBC!!

I got my pie crust made, so tomorrow will be spent in the kitchen tomorrow. Everything I need to take for dinner I can do tomorrow, so things won't be so hectic Sunday. We will have to have everything ready for Ed to leave, so when he is ready to head back down, we will leave Kathy's, get him back on the road, then I will have to go back out for bath night.
