Hi Susan. I've been MIA for 4 days. Garden work is taking up all my time!!! I'm also trying to get to the gym 3 days a week so that I don't have too many aches and pains. Gardening hits different muscles :)
Ken had steroid injections today in his back to try to ease some of the pain. I sure hope they help. I know that I couldn't endure the amount of pain that he has every day.  I tell him that every once in a while.
Had to take my cat to the vet for shots and a checkup. Now poor Boots is on a diet. He weighs 19 pounds so the vet said that he needs to lose 3 of those pounds. He's not a happy guy now since his treats don't flow like wine anymore.
Other than trying to get the yard into Summer shape and Ken being down a few days and reunion work, I'm good. tired  but good.

Kathy said last night if they can't do the test today, she may tell them she has reconsidered about having the test done. Not sure what she will decide, but her blood work is almost $400. just to see if we can do the test. That times 2 after today will be doubled that. So I can see Kathy's point of view, because Molly has always struggled with Urinary issues, she urinates directly on the ground and she is getting debris that causes her infections easily. Kathy really wants to know but so much can interfere with the test being done. So we shall what transpires at the appointment. I hope you have a good day. Supposed to be a rain day here. I will have to go out in a bit and water gardens, Ed will be home this afternoon, he  will lay the soaker hoses out and that will help. I may have to water a bit not as much. I can just turn the hoses on and leave it for a bit. Sis enjoyed her love up and favorite story at bedtime last night. It had to do with Discounts that are offered to Walmart employees, but since I'm retired I can't access the website because it requires 2 step verification and you get that by logging onto one of the computers at the store, so basically I was told I can't take advantage of many benefits. So just grateful I still have my discount card that I can use in store or online. Tomorrow house work. Ugh....really needs done though. Ed left about 3:30 and yes we had bible study. We haven't met for Bible in about 2-3 weeks. So we had a good study. What did you do today? Had a busy day, was glad to get home and settled in for the evening. Not sure what the week holds. I have some business phone calls to make, house work, watering the garden, oh and hopefully some office time, and lots of lovin up on Sis. Ahhh Susan, I know now why your area is famous.. I have never been any further in Michigan than to Benton Harbor many years ago when I was 18. That was 60 years ago so I'm sure that it looks different now. Maybe I'll get back through that area someday.  Enjoy your Summer in spite of tourists :)

Got long winded....sure it will get cut off from the front wall....... We do what we can for Kathy, when we can, Ed doesn't have a lot time, therefore there are many times Kathy has to hire to someone to get things done. She sure can't rely on Kim's husband to do much. Don't get me started on that. Big man on campus, don't know as much as he things he does. Ugh!!!!! So far another pain free morning. Attempting to go in the office with a better frame of mind today. Ed has to work on Saturday, he doesn't know how long, but yes he won't have to go back until Monday afternoon, or that is what he thinks as of now. So we shall see. Kathy has a few things that need tended to, so we will help her with her honey do list. Do what we can. Other than that no plans. Only thing on our menu so far is macaroni and tomatoes. I have been hungry for them, so far that is all we have decided on. I did get in the office for a short time this afternoon, struggled, so I didn't get much done.
