I'm loving all the stories about grandmas and granddaughters gardening together. How are you doing today? I am trying red light therapy for my hip pain. I will let you know in a couple of weeks if it is helping. WebMD  has positive things to say about it.

Goodnight Susan. I'm okay. I look at all the yard work and think about how I'll never get it done. Si I called a lawn service today. they will be out soon to give me a quote on a few things. Sometimes I forget that I can't do it all :)  Stay warm and sweet dreams.

We went shopping and got the plants for our garden we are not putting as many things in this year, but what we are putting in will give us stuff to can and put up for later. Of course tomato plants, pepper plants, cucumbers, and for Christmas one Kathy's 12 days of Christmas was okra seeds, we will plant and care for her okra as much as we can, Ed has never grown it before. The plants will stay in the mud room until it warms up, but there was a sale and the plants were in really good shape, couldn't pass them up. So been a productive day. I hope you had a good day. I do hope your little outing  does reset your mind. No I do not get tired of hearing your woes as you call it, what bothers me is I can't do anything to help you. I wish I could or would have changed for you I would have done in a heartbeat. I know things will help when you can get outside and eventually get to the beach, but maybe during the winter months you might consider seasonal depression and anxiety. Maybe you can get a low dose of meds to help, so you don't get so overwhelmed and struggle so much. Things may still happen but you might be able to maneuver through them with more calm and ease. I just hate I can't help you but listen over the phone, makes me feel helpless. I hope you have some pleasant thoughts today and your mind isn't consumed with future decisions. Will have Lita, Kathy and the kids in my prayers. I know Kathy has a lot on her plate...and if you are seriously discussing the house...I would wait until she is more focused and not distracted with what is going on with Lita and what she may be facing. It will give you more to think on it, and mull it over some more. No hasty decisions are necessary at this point.

Night time sprinkles....what an eventful day. We went to Kathy's and worked on the honey do list out there. Got two things mostly accomplished. Her kitchen sink, water was coming up after letting out water on the other side. No clogs so not sure why that is doing that. Then the spigot to her outside faucet froze over the winter, and he had to replace that, he looked at her door, and it is catching so she will need to buy a new door handle lock thing to be  replaced. Then we got home I got normal weekend stuff done while he tinkered on his tractors outside....continued below.....

then the grand finale of the night, was....drum roll.....we were relaxing, and all of a sudden I seen something fly by, it was a bat. I yelled at Ed and he grabbed the broom and we were able to trap it one room, while he was swinging the broom at it and hit it to the ground and then he took care of it.  So now I'm really paranoid. We were upstairs today, putting out glue traps because of the critter noise I heard earlier in the week, we left the door open so I imagine there was one upstairs and we scared it downstairs while we were up and it had been flying around the house all day. I'm not sure how I'm gonna be able to sleep knowing that a bat could be in the house. We have never had any before so I was rather surprised and scared. Ed found it quite funny, of course he did. So I imagine that what was what I was hearing earlier in the week. Have been researching bats and how to get rid of them, and if there are more it may be a real problem. I told Ed he was going to go upstairs tomorrow and look and see if he sees anymore. Continued below. ....
