Night time sprinkles....what an eventful day. We went to Kathy's and worked on the honey do list out there. Got two things mostly accomplished. Her kitchen sink, water was coming up after letting out water on the other side. No clogs so not sure why that is doing that. Then the spigot to her outside faucet froze over the winter, and he had to replace that, he looked at her door, and it is catching so she will need to buy a new door handle lock thing to be replaced. Then we got home I got normal weekend stuff done while he tinkered on his tractors outside....then the grand finale of the night, was....drum roll.....we were relaxing, and all of a sudden I seen something fly by, it was a bat. I yelled at Ed and he grabbed the broom and we were able to trap it one room, while he was swinging the broom at it and hit it to the ground and then he took care of it. So now I'm really paranoid. We were upstairs today, putting out glue traps because of the critter noise I heard earlier in the week, we left the door open so I imagine there was one upstairs and we scared it downstairs while we were up and it had been flying around the house all day. I'm not sure how I'm gonna be able to sleep knowing that a bat could be in the house. We have never had any before so I was rather surprised and scared. Ed found it quite funny, of course he did. So I imagine that what was what I was hearing earlier in the week. Have been researching bats and how to get rid of them, and if there are more it may be a real problem. I told Ed he was going to go upstairs tomorrow and look and see if he sees anymore. I told Ed you were not going to try and tackle the clean up. He was relieved to hear that. I know it's not the end of the world but it sure is one more devastating blow on top of the long difficult winter you had to endure. Once again I'm sorry the insurance denied the claim, and that Amanda won't be able to come up next weekend. We are expecting strong storms on Monday, if we get bad storms I told Kathy today I won't be going to bible study. They are calling for strong winds, possible hail, tornadoes, the whole shabang. I will meet you in Dreamland later...I probably won't get much sleep tonight. Just the thought of that bat being in the house, gives me heebie jeebies. Sending prayers, love, hugs and kisses.
