I’m sorry for the loss of your Mom and your husband. Loss is very hard and each relationship is a different kind of grief that stays with us. It was a very long goodbye with my Mom having dementia. In reality the woman I knew as my Mom was gone years before she ever passed. My Dad passed in 2006. After my Mom passed I told my husband that I’m an orphan and he said no your not… he is lucky enough to still have both of his parents so he doesn’t understand but sure enough, I am an orphan. 💜
