Good morning Janet. We are having a beautiful morning. It’s 60 degrees and no humidity…absolutely gorgeous!! We took Penny for a walk last night after dinner and it was so nice with the humidity way down. I’m just finishing up watering and then I’m going to take Penny for her walk this morning, it will be refreshing!! I hope you have a great day 💜

I bought a lottery ticket for this coming Saturday and happened to look at it tonight only to find she'd sold me one for Tuesday. I couldn't believe when I checked it I'd won about $10 I won't complain as it only cost $1 so I'll pick up another one when I'm out in the morning.

I've not touched the puzzle today but should finish 'Venice' tomorrow. I also want to find something to give to Malcolm for his birthday next week, why are men so difficult to buy for? He loves to read so I'll try and find a book he might like but that's not the easiest thing to do.

I'm thinking of having an early night as my bedroom has the air con unit. I've decided to make my move when I've finished FL.

Can you get your bone density test done somewhere else, they have a section at our hospital that does nothing else, surely Desert View have something similar you can't be the only one who needs it done.

Tomorrow I will do a little shopping there always seems to be something I need, also it means I make the effort to get up and out as its better than sitting home most of the day. I like to get at least 5000 steps in a day and in this heat the supermarket is a nice air conditioned place to do them.

Hi Janet, It's been 76 today so I want to know why the thermometer in my lounge is at 80 even though I've had a fan going all day. Unfortunately the sun shines direct on to my front window all afternoon so although I shut the blinds it does get very hot. I had a lovely lunch with Hilda at the fish restaurant, I had a lemon sole with a prawn and cheese sauce, it was delicious. I did feel for the chef it must have been so hot in his kitchen and the restaurant was busier than I've seen it in years. I suppose it's nicer to eat out than cook in this heat!

I went to see another cousin, Christine, on the way home and her hubby, Malcolm, they were really pleased with the walker. They said it was much lighter than the one they had borrowed and collapsed small enough that it would be easy to put it in the car, plus it has a seat so if the user gets tired they can have a rest.....maybe I should have kept it. lol
