Happy Tuesday, Janet. I hope Randy is enjoying his day today. I’m sure he got a special toy and is having fun with it. Piper will be one on August 12. I can’t believe that she’s almost a year old already. She has come a very long way. Things are starting to get a bit easier, thank the good Lord above…. lol

I changed my mind about going for the milk as I have enough to last until Thursday and it has a long sell by date so will go tomorrow or Thursday when I have to go out for my dental appointment to have my teeth cleaned.

I've sorted the puzzle and done the edge and a little of the picture. At the same time I've been catching up on some recorded TV programmes. Although I have had a fan going all day at 10 o'clock this evening it's still 78 in my lounge, even with the windows open and the blinds closed. There's no way round it we're just not geared up for hot weather in this country.

I've still not seen either Sue or Ian but I may see her tomorrow when she puts her bin out. She's always the one to put it out and he brings it in, somehow that seems odd to me surely he should move the heavy bin and she when it's empty, people are strange.

Hi Janet, it's been very warm around us today 104, we are so lucky to be by the sea it's been 75 here with 74% humidity. Further south they've been telling people not to travel on the trains and have sent many children home from school. Nothing here has air conditioning except the big stores, not even hospitals, it's crazy. I only have an small old air conditioner unit in my bedroom, but it's definitely much cooler in there than anywhere else. The only other people I know who have air con. are Sue and Ian who had 2 large units put in their lounge and bedroom when they moved in.

I changed the bed first thing and got everything on the line to dry, then I took down the shower curtains, which I hate doing as they are so high, put them through the washer and put them back up to dry!
