My satellite box is playing up and fingers crossed it lasts a bit longer. I sure I could get it replaced but the newer ones are so complicated I'm not sure I want one. Ian and Sue have one and he's offered to help if I get in a muddle, but while the old one holds out I'm sticking with it.

I'm glad you got a lay in this morning, well I assume you did if the workman were missing of maybe Randy got you up anyway. My sister in law's pool was huge being 3ft 6 inches at shallow end and 10 foot at the deep end. I would say they didn't build it they bought the house with it already there. I know at one time they thought they could fill it in a bit then there wouldn't be so much water to heat but they soon found out they would need a huge amount of hard core or soil and in the end they only managed to get the deep end to 8 foot before they gave up.

Don hasn't got time to fix the chair, he's got to finish that diving board all ready for you to use. haha

I stopped by my aunt's on the way home only to find she was out. As I was leaving she arrived home with a friend and had been out with some of her tennis friends for a coffee morning that spread to the afternoon. It's lovely that although she's older than any of them they do visit and take her about with them.

When I got home I sorted out a wasjig to take to Maggie's, all I have to do now is leave it alone. I think I'll do a small one on the table or on one of the small inserts of my puzzle board, that will keep me away from the wasjig.

This evening was the start of Strictly come dancing. Every year I say I'll not watch it but I always do. The problem these days is that I don't know who half the people on it are, probably 'celebrities' famous for being famous.

Hi Janet, it started off wet but cleared lunch time and was 68 which is not bad but this evening it's dropped to 60 but feels like 48 with the wind chill and unfortunately it's not supposed to get above 60 all next week.

I met up with Ness at the hall and brought home 3 paperback books for Sue, the nun, they are by her favourite authors and although she may have read them at about $1 for all 3 I took a risk and she can always take them to a charity shop near her home if she doesn't want them.

The twins were at Sheila's and I hadn't seen them for 4 weeks and I'm sure they've grown a bit, they also seem more sturdy when they run about. OMG you need eyes in the back of your head with them, how Anna, their mum, copes is beyond me, mind you she's 23 and I'm 76 that's probably got something to do with it. LOLOL

Good morning Janet, I have most of my Halloween decorations up already. I have a small pencil tree in my kitchen that I put up with no decorations on it. I put it up yesterday with a ghost for the topper and a Halloween skirt around the bottom. I just have to talk Larry into putting our giant skelly up and then I’m done with decorating. The kids are doing well in school. Liam has a sub while his teacher is out on maternity leave. He’s not fond of the sub. His teacher had her baby a few weeks before school started and she won’t be back until January. He hasn’t met her yet. They are having a little trouble with Alina…when they go outside for recess she runs off, it’s called elopement. They’ve sent emails home but I’m not sure what is being done. She also is taking other kids snacks at snack time if it looks appealing to her. She’s climbing and jumping off of desks. She’s in an inclusive class but I think she’s in the wrong setting altogether. She needs to be in a school that works solely with autistic children. She has an IEP but nothing is being done to utilize it. I tell my son that him and Alina’s mom have to seek out the help, it’s not going to come to them. It feels like most of

Good Morning! it sounds like lots of work to have a pool.Our neighbors had an indoor pool put in,seems like it took forever. we are in a senior area,but people here,do not get moving. I retired from working Therapy at a convent,being up at 5:30am.I worked there for 31 years,I get going early. I now sleep or rest until 6:ooam ! I guess it is what people get used to : )    A tragic loss in your family but brave to make the two kids stay in the family. Lots of energy to raise kids!  I am 72,I have pep,but Charlotte and Claire at 12 years old are so busy and the homework!!  UGH!     I hope you have a great day.  sending hugs!!
