It's just a bad luck my friend that it happens in such a period of Christmas days. Hope the repair will be fixed accurately and on time on to have any more problems.

Aww, Ginger, just what you don’t need at this time of year. Hope it’s soon all fixed & working properly. Is it an old house. You’ll have enough to do without all the clearing up, & it’s messy too. At least you should sleep well.
We’ve done the shopping today, hubby is going back at 3 to collect the Turkey & trimmings. We got roubd ok this morning as we went early. It’s a nightmare & all for a couple of days lol. What are you doing for Christmas? Xxx

Maybe, if it’s a long story, you could send it via messenger. I firmly believe in ghosts have smelt my Nan’s perfume a couple of times in a previous home, in a room she liked to sit in & read.

Good to have de ent neighbours but there’s always that nosy one, who likes to know everything & does seem to do so. Never had a house with a basement, need the large, much older houses for those. Think I’d be nervous going down lol. My Grandson has a weekend job at the same hotel my daughter works at. He’s been grabbing extra shifts. Part of the hotel is very old. They have an area called the grey mile. No natural light at all. Used to be a hospital many years ago & the mortuary was down there. He has to go in there & heard some funny noises that rattled him. He’s dreading having to go there again lol. My daughter actually worked down there for a couple of years when she started. The fluorescent lights didn’t do her migraines any good. She’s above ground now & much happier. Grandson doesn’t believe in ghosts, but think he might be changing his mind lol.  Definitely no flesh eating monsters there though, phew 😂😂

I dread to think of the costs in NY, same in London, a nightmare. They claim to build affordable housing but not many on each development & deep within the estates. Impossible for so many to get on the housing ladder. Re ting is dead money & very hard to save for mortgage.
Don’t think I’d venture near that nature reserve sounds like it has flesh eating monsters lol. Xx

Lol, too old & too cold, oh dear. It gets us like that I think.
This time of year, the days are so short.  Lovely you’re not far from a nature reserve. We are surrounded by fields at the back of our house. We see deer lots of times & because we don’t have any garden to speak of, the only birds we get are very fat pigeons & magpies lol. Overrun with them both. We’ll lose the lovely views at some point because they’re going to build houses. Everywhere you look here are houses going up. Most are very unaffordable to say the least & I’d love to know where all the folks who buy them come from. Progress they say but we’ll have no green spaces left soon. So sad & all that wildlife left homeless. So upsetting xxx

So, it's Nativity Scene's time again! For the past few years the municipality has prepared a kind of map of about 60 mangers, exposed in churches museums or in the open (like squares, markets and such). You can get a stamp when you visit, and try to get the more you can. It's a beautiful initiative and I got already about 10 stamps. It's not just about the stamps though, as fun as it may be ;) but the chance to visit or re-visit museums and getting into churches I didn't ever enter before!

Thanks for spotting the cardinal Ginger. We don’t have them here unfortunately. They’re stunning birds. Love the robins, I do believe they’re our loved ones who have passed are visiting us.

Just had a text from doctors after blood results back. They’re increasing my cholesterol meds as levels aren’t where they should be. So double the current dose. Is getting old fun lol 😂😂
