Hi Maria! I know exactly what you mean, I don't like to ask incase I make the person feel uncomfortable and then they won't visit anymore. Making friends when you're small is so much easier, why do we lose that I wonder? Anyway, thank you again and it was my pleasure 🥰 Mum and dad are celebrating their 58th wedding anniversary today (according to my dad he wouldn't have got that sentence for murder 😲), I say 'celebrating' in the broadest sense as dad rarely leaves his bed nowadays. Our weather was absolutely lovely yesterday but the sun is once again playing hide and seek with the dark clouds. It's not unpleasant though and mum is pottering in the garden talking to the birds like she's a Disney Princess 😉

I have a number of health issues that have left me unable to work now so I do spend a fair amount of time in Fairyland, it's actually my friends here (and having someone to talk to at virtually any time of day because of different countries and their time zones) who helped keep me going for a while. There are some beautiful souls out there and I'm happy to have met another one 🫶 Oh goodness! I've found another one of you who can't function without their cup(s) of morning magic (coffee) 😂 I can't stand the stuff, the smell actually gives me a headache but I have at least three fairy friends who won't start their day before having a cup (or three!). With me it used be a cigarette (but I gave up 21 years ago!!) and now it's Pepsi Max!

I know, I know but I'm not allowed to drink, I'm single, I'm a legal druggie so what else is there?? Well other than chocolate of course but now I'm pre-diabetic so that's out of the window too 🙄😂 I absolutely promise I'll get to the Fairytales for you... eventually 🙏 I'd like to say that I "only" have three more rounds of the Topiary Trails to complete after this one but that's Indigo times two, and Violet once. Neither of them are easy and I'm absolutely dreading it! I'm off to hunt down a new knitting pattern as I've just finished another set. Hi Maria. yes i popped round to the cats in the sunshine this morning after clearing a mountain of ironing including all my running gear, and was given purrs and cuddles from them. Just 5.14 miles but a couple of easy hills.

my wife is catsitting this weekend so i have me time so of course i have cleared all the cleaning, washing, ironing, dusting etc etc, and treated myself food wise. now watching last nights Wrestlemania, just because....

You really are very lucky to have Hummingbirds, we don't have them in this country try at all. They're so beautiful, like flying jewels.

I have quite a few American friends who delight in tormenting me when they start putting out their feeders. The one with the camera sounds amazing, you're going to get some fabulous shots I would think. I had six Starlings bathing in my birdbath, just so you know 😉

gosh a 20.22 at Hyde Park today and my dodgy knee is starting to ache again. I have eaten and drunk a lot today so abandoning Crystal Palace tomorrow in favour of a lie-in and a local run via the cats, then a few chores and an afternoon of relaxing

The granules are supposed to last a month? But the Liquid fence is good until it rains & then has to be re-applied. yes it does work & stinks LOL  I too love the deer & no it doesn't work on the dog LOL  So far the granules seem to be working, I do have flowers coming up that otherwise would be salad for the deer & bunnies LOL
