cat run today - 6.24 miles, and 3 of them came out for Dreamies and lots of purrs

21.07 again in the parkrun today, same as last week despite starting behind slower people.

run via cats tomorrow and a 12 mile hike planned for Monday

I totally get the temptation to buy things. In my 40s I worked in retail and sometimes I swear I only worked to buy items from the store. I do prefer what I do now though and have more time for my home life with my daughter. For the larger part of her life (she's 13 next weekend) we left home before the sun come up to take her to care then me to work, then we'd get home after dark. Next to no time once dinner and showers were done etc to have quality time. When I raised my son's (who are adults now) I worked hard then too, eventually started my first cleaning business but they had each other. I feel so much at ease now knowing I'm home when she leaves for school and comes home. We plan little dates and game nights etc and it's great.

I work part-time looking after an air b&b. I also do yardwork like gardening and hedge trimming etc and sometimes I'll do exit cleans for rentals. Yesterday I was talking with a couple of different air b&b owners hoping to secure a couple more places as we're heading into the quieter months plus I have decided to take on an employee so I can be a little more flexible with my own time.

Olinguito have been very challenging, mostly dues to gardens being so scarce. I unfroze my garden about half an hour ago and first Olinguito garden I visited I spotted one. Now hopefully 2 visit my garden and I can complete the quest (for the second time).
I'll then set up for Waxwings (fourth attempt) as well. I'm only level 6 so I can only plant fructus randomus and Waxwings require the strawberry but I keep getting bananas or pineapple 🤦🏽‍♀️
I wish we could sprinkle to change the fruit like we can change the singing note 🤷🏽‍♀️

well.....parkrun was a year best 21.07 which is 6.48 a mile pace. The 10k today was long, as the lead runner hadnt looked at the route and went the wrong way, so we ran 6.363 miles not 6.2, so my 44.43 time would have been 43.40 had it been accurate. Hey ho. Got a medal and came 7th / 75 and a good workout.
