Did you get many customers in the cold this weekend?
I didnt sleep well after getting back after midnight from my sons gig, so went for a 7.5 mile run via the cats.

Just cooking dinner - pie and veg - and up 4am tomorrow!

it has rained for 38 days straight in the UK now apparently. Today i travelled to Stratford for another Olympic Park 5k and it was raining of course, and just before i started it stopped and i ran a year best 20.42 for the 5k! Amazing! Sub 21 mins at 58 years old in the wet. Bodes well for the spring. Next week i move up to 10k at Battersea, so a run tomorrow and on Weds, and then save my legs for Saturday and I will be after 43 mins for that

Well, the modular owners sold it. We got a message yesterday. It was a great price but the bank was throwing road blocks like we were walk in clients, not 30  year clients. Johns bought 4 houses through them! I’m so mad, I spent several days on emails, texts and phone calls to get quotes from movers and putting in screw piles, I even had to put several calls into the modular builders to get the pile diagram, which I still never received. Also other calls to finance companies and brokers…. They said they would hold it for us until the weekend and we were literally waiting on 1 call and hopefully that’d be today and we’d pay them. I’m heartbroken and frustrated. I’m looking at a property that’s amazing! But it’s farther away, 2 hours to James, my sister, brother in law and my parents instead of only 1 hour. But it’s such an awesome property! I think we’ll need to go look at it since I can’t stop looking at it on line. John has looked too and he loves it but as I said it’s farther away, which means farther for him to drive to the airport too. We’ll see how it goes when he gets home on Tuesday.
I bet you’ll be really cold as parts of Ontario are supposed to go down to around -50, dear lord! Coldest place on the planet I think, hopefully it won’t get that bad for you. Are you staying home or do you have to go out?

Hi Andy!!   So sorry my responses take me so long. I just finished returning sprinkles and couldn't believe I have been away for so many days!  It sounds like you had a great 2 days off!  Way to go on that 7 mile run - that had to feel awesome!  I am VERY envious!  On two days this week I did a 15 minute elliptical, and then 15-20 minute treadmill walk.  The elliptical didn't really bother me (except for the fact that I hate it) - but with the treadmill my leg felt every step.   It doesn't "HURT" but I can feel it, and I know it is not yet ready to run.  It is SO frustrating!  Today I will do that same workout.  I figure if I keep doing it, maybe it will help.

The weather warmed up a little this week which felt good - but we are expecting 2-4 inches of snow tonight, and then they are saying the coldest air of the season is moving in tomorrow morning with high winds.  I am NOT looking forward to that!  BUT....Spring has to come sooner or later - right????   Are you still having all that rain???  I hope the sun is finally shining through!

7.05 miles. Oh that one felt GOOD. Stopped to pat a horse as didnt want to spook it by flying past and chatted to rider and trainer. Got my hills in. The first time I ran Hillcross Avenue in Morden south london I had no idea what it was like. Now I realise it was so named as you  run across a hill!! Wonder what it was like 100 years ago before houses were built.

sausages beans and mash for a Monday meal. Happy boy tonight

I am missing all your cool critters. I have put double organic down for 24 hours. One more day at work and then 2 off. Monday will be physio then chores, Tuesday physio then Brighton to see sister for nice lunch. Looking forward to that and maybe some sea air :-)

Morning
My lovely boss said i could work from home today, so of course I was up at 7am and hit the road at 8am for 5.88 miles in 44 mins, 7.30 pace with one big hill. Had a hair cut and will start work at 1pm.

Hows the temperature over there?

working the weekend so next run on Monday at some stage, probably around lunchtime.

Have a great day :-)
