I don't envy you having to get buses everywhere. I don't mind riding the bus but they can be unreliable, they seem to just cancel them without notice so where you thought you'd got to wait maybe 15-20 minutes, you end up waiting an hour and it's miserable at this time of year. There's not always a shelter or a seat, just a stop. And if you want to go out in the evening, you're having to leave early to catch the last bus. But my friend will be getting her bus pass soon and we plan to have bus pass adventures lol

Let's hope all goes well for Carol and she is discharged early, then you can just keep an eye on things, can you? Our two dogs are the opposite in terms of character, they're both rescues, from Cyprus originally through our favourite local dog rescue. Daisy is big and black, a pointer cross and she's as laid back as they come. Rarely barks, as long as she's fed and gets her couple of walks a day she's happy to spend the rest of her time in one of her beds. Jinny is some kind of terrier X and she loves to go wherever we go, affectionate little thing at home, loves a cuddle but outside she's typical terrier, always looking for something small to chase lol And she can be yappy, if somebody walks by and sneezes, she barks. Also barks at bikes, motorbikes, people in hi vis vests, I'm sure you know the scenario.

Aw, that's so good of you to look after your friend's dog and I hope they don't wear you out too much. Good idea to get everything done where you couldn't take them with you, you're very organised. I know what you mean about not knowing what would happen if you left them on their own together, it's a concern. We're having my stepdaughter's dog over Easter while they're in New York. He's a young Tibetan terrier and always wants to play but he tries to dominate our two, especially our little dog Jinny. I wouldnt dare leave them on their own so we'll probably get the dog crate out again that we used when he was a puppy and he'll have to go in that if we have to go out without the dogs.
