Since it was a sunny day I decided to take the car to have it washed. I was amazed when I got there that there was no queue and I was in and out in 15 minutes. I found out why no queue this afternoon when it rained. There was me thinking it was going to stay sunny, never mind it was clean for 4 hours. LOLOL

The hip is a bit better and tomorrow I shall have plenty of time to rest it as not only are the drain people coming sometime between 8am and 6pm the gas service engineer is coming between 8 and 12 for my annual boiler service. Looks like I shall be getting some of the puzzle done.

Sue and Ian were watering their garden when I came home and she was telling me she too has a hip problem, I told her to see the doctor as it's not likely to get better, she's over 80.

Hi Janet, I called Beko the freezer people this morning and ordered a new drawer for the freezer, I really should have gone to get a parking place near the opticians but I thought I had plenty of time. Huh, I got there with 20 minutes to spare and all the parking was gone so I had to park about 10 minutes away and walk, still at least I got there on time. The glasses are fine, so that's something I won't need to think about for another 12 months.

I came straight home so I could phone about the drain. I got a very nice man at the gas board. I had wondered if I was covered with them and he said not only was I covered but the men to fix it will be with me tomorrow. I was pleased as if I'd gone to the clearers direct it would have cost about $300 going through the gas people will cost only $80, anyway by this time tomorrow it will be fixed.
