I have to say I agree with Don the smell at the tip leaves a lot to be desired! I was just so glad the man took the fan and I could drive straight out.

It's been 73 today and tomorrow a little cooler. I did the small amount of shopping I could remember, came home had a steak slice for lunch then went to see auntie. She was upset that she'd lost her reading glasses and had looked around and they were no where to be found. I stayed most of the afternoon and as I was leaving I noticed some glasses laying on a trunk in her front lobby. She was so pleased and remembered she'd been wearing them when someone had come to the door so I suppose she'd taken them off without thinking and laid them there. I left one very happy auntie!

I'll see Ness in the morning and have lunch with Sheila, she didn't catch the cold from her granddaughter however last week when I didn't go she said the twins were very grumpy and it seems they were coming down with it so I'm not sorry I missed that visit.

Hi Janet, I've been thinking about you today, I hope all goes well. I've a feeling if you can remember the words from last time you'll do just fine this time. We can't get those tests here for love nor money. Maggie made enquiries about 2 years ago and she's still waiting. She's a bit worried about her husband and he didn't want one so she said they should both go but so far she's heard nothing. I worry as 2 of my prescribed drugs can cause memory problems but no one seems too bothered, well that is apart from me.

D's skip arrived at 7 this morning, not that I saw it come but when I went to feed the birds D was in his garden and we had a chat over the fence. He's filled it with the broken concrete pieces that were from his back garden and he tells me tomorrow he'll break up a path beneath his front window and put that in it. He'd also had a hired wacker plate which he levelled the ground with at the back before he puts his grass in, it's going to look very smart and organised by the time he's finished, unlike mine which is a cottage garden with plants all merging in to each other.
