Hi Tricia, thanks for the Field Mouse. Glad you survived the cold and busy day . Sorry to hear about Ross's pet being took poorly. Go online and search for exercises to help with your pain Hun, 3 months is standard for private practise physio, its not always necessary . Here you get a max of 6 sessions on the NHS after that you pay or go through private insurance. But they will print you off exercise sheets. I found one online for pain , which is great if your balance is fairly good. If it isnt you hold onto a chair or countertop to steady you. Cross your leg over the other at the ankle, slowly bend forward as far as you are able. You will feel a pull in you back and butt cheek. Repeat with the other leg. Thats the pressure taken off the sciatic nerve by stretching the spine. Off course always check this is suitable for you before trying it. Works for me though, doesnt cure it but does help pain wise.
