Hi Tricia, enjoy your lunch. We have a bannister on one side and a stainless steel hand rail on the other. It helps us both get up and down the stairs, more so for hubby as he used to crawl almost to get up the stairs. Now he can stand upright. l can manage most days with just the bannister. l agree the chair lifts are slow for the most part, no good if you need the toilet lol. . There is a model that goes faster though here, l could have bought it second hand for £250 and paid to have it installed . I refused it as the staircase is narrow. There are also internal proper lifts now those are very expensive , they take the place of a staircase. Not allowed to have one here so we manage ok as we are. I dont know what the chairlifts cost there but needing two would be a heck of a cost. Knees when they hurt are a real nuisance arent they. Have a good rest of the day Hun xxx

Hi Tricia ty for spotting my Mallard and aardvark with pinky, it wasn't just the rain but Caravan was hammered by Strong winds really shaking the  Caravan, so pleased Anne is recovering nicely, Roy and Margaret went home early Afternoon when it was starting with the Wind and rain, hope your weather doesnt develop into anything annoying, enjoy your Evening Tricia love and hugs xxx
