Indigo means your 3rd shape is correct which is good but you also need a green and orange as well to come before you get your violet candies coming. Green is your 2nd shape and orange is your 1st shape.

Not yet you need to have a violet critter come on your plate first. You’ll know you have the right combination when you get all 3 correct positions for a candy so for instance I was doing sugarsnout so once I have an orange, a green, and a indigo sugarsnout come I would then get a violet sugarsnout because all 3 positions are correct candies. Once you have 10 Violet candies come on your plate and in the case of my example sugarsnout’s etc then the 10th spotted in your garden will drop a rainbow candy seed in an empty pot and you dust it up and wait until it’s ready. Then you start the process to find the rainbow combination for that candy. Which means you have to start from scratch and find your new shapes and colors for that rainbow combination.

It does test us.  Took me 5 weeks to finish one rainbow.

You just have to mark down what shape and what colors you tried and then what is correct just make sure you keep track of those. Right now you’ll be trying to find the violet combinations for each critter. Once you get all 3 for one of your critters you will get a violet of that critter and once 10 of a violet comes it will drop a rainbow candy into an empty pot left in your garden. Then once you have a rainbow candy into your garden you will then be checking for your rainbow combination. So you’ll start a list like below but with rainbow instead of violet and it’s important to note that if you have a rainbow candy in your garden you will now receive clues for any rainbow critter so for instance if you are working one cherrymole for instance you can also get clues for a rainbow Candydevil since Candydevil and cherrymole both come to the same food. You can also test out other foods if you wish or you can wait until you are working on that specific rainbow candy. Hopefully this isn’t too much info you can save for later to read it again as it will make more sense once you’ve gotten further into the candies.
