Good evening Lizzy and it has been a lovely sunny day here as well. Yes I suppose I am the cake maker for the family, but mainly for their birthdays. The next one will be for my daughter at the end of the month. Sending you my very best wishes and lots of love and hugs. xx

a quiet afternoon hello, Lizzy, and a splash! some garden time, and then cake baking sounds delightful! it's 5C here, which feels so nice after our cold winter. quiet day here as Ellie has stayed home from school not feeling well. and, after yesterday's misadventure grocery shopping I'm going to appreciate the quiet. (the cart rolled away from my car while I was loading groceries...with my cane still in the cart. thank goodness a young woman caught the cart for me!) take care. xx
