Hi Lizzie, the Men’s Shed is a men’s club which runs in a nearby village.  It is a club where they meet up twice a week and make things, swop ideas, hand on knowledge, do work for the community, have a news(chat), drink coffee etc etc.  he has been doing that since the year after he retired and it’s particularly good for the men that don’t have anybody at home.  He also has a shed at home and a computer and laser room but he doesn’t take anything to do with the garden.  That’s my domain, but he will help me with the heavy bits.  Today is our 57th wedding anniversary and I’m thinking back, wondering where all the years have gone.

Hi Lizzy, very windy today and although the car thought it was 12 degrees it didn’t feel like that.  Himself and I had a pensioner’s lunch at the local garden centre today so no cooking for me tonight!!
