Good evening Lizzy and we had thunder through the night, but the day has been sunny and warm. Went a walk out this morning and bumped into two of my grandchildren, Jordan and Sophie. It was lovely to see them. Then this morning I cleaned my fridge out. Still need to do my freezers out. This afternoon I went in to my neighbour's house for a cuppa and a chat. This was lovely. Then Beth  visited me after work. Lots of love and hugs. xx

Happy Thursday, Lizzy. We just celebrated our memorial day this past Monday. The kids only have a few more weeks of school. They are done the third week of June and then summer vacation begins. Larry will probably also have to lose weight if he ever decides that he wants to get knee replacements done. He needs to lose weight regardless if he has surgery or not. He has been struggling lately with walking. His new job is requiring him to do a lot more walking than he did in the mechanics position. It is putting a lot of strain on his knees. He has the proper arch support in his shoes, I think it’s just his knees are so far gone. He keeps saying he does not want to have the surgery so I don’t think it’s going to be anytime soon. We are having a cool day with some sun. It is supposed to remain like this through the end of the month but the beginning of next week it should be more summer like weather. We’ve had a few nice days recently. I hope you are having a great day.💜

a sunny good morning, Lizzy, and a splash! a good breeze helps a lot. it's cooler here today. Pat and his family arrived safely (after 11:00 p.m.!). they were here for a bit while Pat worked a half day. they're going to drive to Illinois to visit his father today. then tomorrow we'll go to Devil's Lake, which is a state park north of here. take care, and keep cool! xx 🦋
