Hi Lynne, I hope you are keeping well in these trying times? I am getting to the point of not wanting to watch the news now, most of it is so depressing. Where is the time going? September already and darker nights. I am trying to remain cheerful and grateful for all the good things in my life, but with hubby's memory problems it can be difficult at times. Anyway take care. xx

Thank you for your message. I was just putting my summer clothes into storage - it made me feel a bit sad too. It'll be such a long time until I can use them again. But then I thought about what lies ahead - ruska, the beautiful time of colored leaves; the exciting and mysterious Halloween; Christmas and finally New Year, a new hope for a better new year, Stay safe.

Hi Lynne and Dolores
Dementia is a terrible illness, I have had some experience of it through helping a friend with her Mother, which gave me an insight into how horrendous it can be. I do wish they could get to the roots of what causes it and find better ways to deal with it. There are Care homes full of people suffering with this horrible illness and it is heartbreaking to see a person suffering so much. Goodness only knows what they feel for themselves. I hope your neigbours sister gets in touch and sorts thing out for the poor man before he does himself some harm.
I know it is sad but doing the shopping list and getting the delivery of shopping once a week is quite a highlight for me.!!! The other highlight at the weekends of course is seeing my boys.
My Son said tonight, he thinks it is okay now for them to come inside my house and wanted to know how I felt about it - as if he needed to ask !! So that is something to look forward to.
I am still eating carefully and feel happy that I have now lost the equivalent of 6 bags of sugar, not sure where from but don't really care. I am keeping up with 30 minutes of exercise on my Exercise ball every night. Like I

Hi Lynne and Dolores.- have managed to return all sprinkles. I was very short of diamonds so needed to leave garden open to try to get more so I could buy more plant pots for the silly candy cuties. They are an extravagant plant to be growing!!
I have splints and gloves and bandages but the nicest thing for my hands is to sit with them in hot water.
I have still not ventured out but my nephew has now organised things which means I can sit looking at my sister in law in Essex and chat - so now we get our coffee and have a good old natter. I have not seen her for 2 years because in 2018 she had a heart problem and had stents fitted plus a pacemaker. Then last year she was in ICU with pneumonia and we nearly lost her.
How are you getting along with the shopping deliveries, it will be much better for you than getting out of bed at the crack of dawn as the days get shorter. I find I am buying more fruit and veg because I don't have to worry about carrying it home but it is different for you with the car.
You must be getting on well with sorting the library, when will it be able to open for the public again ?
I need to go and have a little break from keyboard as

Hi Lynne - I feel really bad that I have not been returning sprinkles but I can only manage about 10 mins on my pc and my hand is too painful.
I hope you enjoyed having your shopping delivered, much less stressful for you. It is good that you are able to get out to the library, I expect your kitty friend is missing you. I am hoping to be back to speed in the next coupe of days. Take care Jx
