Hello Lizzy, thanks for the chaffinch. We had our Thanksgiving on Thursday. We had a nice dinner at our son-in-laws sister’s house. She always invites us for Easter and Thanksgiving. We got a snowstorm overnight that brought a lot of snow. This is our 2nd snow of the season and we aren’t even into December yet…it’s going to be a long winter I think. I hope you have a nice rest of your weekend!!💜

It’s been hailstones off and on today and cold.  Cauli and cheese sounds great.  Michael was at the farm shop today and brought in a huge neep (turnip/swede to you).  It’s just nothing like what the supermarkets sell as a swede.  I did a cottage pie tonight with ice cream and jelly to follow.  Our twins, Julie and Nicola, have their birthday tomorrow so we’re going out for lunch.  I’m hoping for a turkey dinner.  Not long now and your long wait will be over.  I’m sure you will be glad to have it over and done with.  Hugs xx

a snowy good morning, Lizzy, and a splash! I'm having pie (pumpkin) for breakfast. planning on staying inside and reading as it's suppose to snow all day long. and, it's -3C; brrr! I hope the rain stops by the time you need to walk the boys again. wishing you a lovely warm day inside! xx ❄️
