Monday night splashes 🌸

Good morning Sherri!  It's hot & humid here now & warnings that it's going to get worse as the week goes on.  They're saying we may be breaking some records this week.  July & August are the worst here also.  No swimming pool here either.  I'm really not a big water person anyhow, though back in the day we did have one for the kids when they were growing up.  I will be hibernating with the air conditioner, at least until  the weekend. 
Yes, we have plenty going on in the area in the summertime.  The hardest part is to decide which one to go to.  Lol
Next Saturday, I'm going to a big 4th of July parade & then up on the greens where there is food & plenty of vendors set up with their wares.
Then I'll be back home in plenty of time to be with Opie & Sammy for when the fireworks start.
Opie's not bad with them.  Of course he's on my lap & looks at me wide eyed when one goes off.  I have yet to see how Sammy will react, but rest assured, he'll be on my lap also & we'll be listening to some good music.  Lol
