I have no idea how to clean the filters, and i havnt actually had it serviced that remember.  Its after hours,  im surprised your on hold. I would be nervous too building a new house,  its a huge project,  I would more be worried about the timeline.  Your going through a building company and have the inspector, so its all good.
My mums wok lid just fits, so heat hot, then put chops on, then reduce heat to medium,  and cover for 10 minutes then turn over,
