Are you close to finding the last critter for your vase .. the process of elimination in this quest can take a lot of time.

I think more attention is paid to building codes these days which is not a bad thing.
The wind is dying down and it's going to be a very nice evening.

I started watching Ransom Canyon on Netflix....it's not the most exciting program I've watched..

My house was built in 1977 and I've had to have some things brought up to today's codes,particularly plumbing and electrical and nothing is cheap. I would love to have new interior doors and floors. Before Stacey and Jake moved in I had thoughts of selling and buying a condo, the upkeep on a house is never ending.
It's so windy here. There's a gazebo sitting partly up in a tree and partly on the roof of the house down the street. Looks pretty silly. I can't imagine how they will get it down.

About an hour into our road trip, on a back country road, we got an alert on the dash that the back tire on the passenger side was low.  Stacey was driving my car and got out to check and could hear the air leaking. We hightailed it to a little village close by, parked in the church parking lot, called CAA who were there in about 40 minutes and put on the little spare tire. In the mean time the lady cleaning the church grounds let us into the church so we could use the bathroom.  This church was where we were heading because Stacey's.great grandparents on her father's mother's side are buried there. Anyway we headed back home, picked up lunch and after lunch I took the car to the dealers. They removed a sharp piece of steel and fixed the tire. That was our road trip..lol

I wish we had a tree chipping service. I wish we had more than 2 free yard waste pickups a year but at least the city opened up the drop off to longer hours and Saturday mornings.
