Hello Evelyn, it was the Guttering people yesterday. Job completed. Tomorrow I have the plumber to come and advise / quote re. The shower. Like you now that I am retired I prefer to wake naturally rather than with the alarm. I decided not to go to my Art group today as I just needed a day with nothing on. Funny story, the other day a little boy who lives near the shop that I walk to and always chats with me, ran out holding an egg. "My hen just layed this" and he held it to his nose. "And we now have a bee hive!" Later that day as I as working in the Charity Shop I found an used Bee Keeper's Journal so I took it home to gift to the family. Today as I walked to the shop for my morning coffee I had the book with me and turned into their yard. There I saw, Mum, Tess, leaning against the bee hive with a look of bliss on her face. No protective gear. "Tess I have something for you." She explained that she was listening to the bees and loving smelling the honey. I gave her the journal and she was delighted. Tess and her 2 small boys are a lovely, free family. All white blonde hair and I never see them wearing shoes. Tess has a Scandanavian accent. I must ask her where she comes from. I love living here at the back beach and meeting all the eccentric people here. Enjoy your day.
