The first was a rescue middle-aged gal; Mr Jock the second and lived until 15; Jazz we got as an adult in arrangement with breeder while Mr Jock was in his prime. A Westie named Asti lived next door to us at a rural property and went with us when we moved as she spent most of her day with us anyway and her human parents were separating but she died  about 2 years later from stomach cancer. After Mr Jock died we took on Jazz's granddaughter (Meg our present one) but after a year the two began terrible fights and we ended up having to rehome Jazz. She was very happy with her new owner who I kept in touch with as it broke my heart to let her go. Jazz lived until 15 and died just a couple of months ago. :(

Yes we have the Princess Meg who is now 9 and very sassy but of all the Westies we've  had (5 now) Mr Jock  holds a special place in our hearts.
