Hi, Janet! Thanks for the Mallard. :) Taking last sips of hot coffee before starting the routine of getting ready for the day. Randy didn't eat yet, but maybe he's just not in the mood. We'll see. Yesterday I didn't have any time to work on the jigsaw, so will make some time today, hopefully. When Don was at the gym, I made sugar cookie dough & started the process of rolling them out and baking after our dinner. So, I was until 7:30 last evening icing them, etc. They are pretty good but not that pretty, as didn't have many decoration sugars, etc. Oh, well they taste good. Today I "might" make a batch or two of cherry coconut bars. Mom made them years ago & helped my older sister with a school project. The project ended up in the showcase at Barrett Jr. High School. I would take my friends by them & point out the beautiful Swan glass object they were in and was so proud. :) So, it's become a tradition to make them every year. And they are very good, also!
What are you up to today? We didn't get around to picking up the prescription yesterday so will do that today. We'll get lunch while out. I'm tired of eating out, can you tell. I do believe that's Don's way of getting me out of the house. ;)
Maybe we'll take a walk around the neighborhood tonight and see the Christmas decorations in our neighborhood. I'm sure some are very cute. One truck we noticed was lit up around the frame and so they used what they had sitting in the driveway for decoration! Very clever! Take care & I'll be around later! xxx
