Tried again before leaving!  LOL  :)

Ashley and Tyler are supposed to back up to Cleveland Clinic tomorrow, but I think the weather will be too bad for them to make the trip.  They are braver than I am if they go.  More winds and storms are heading that way by Lake Erie. 

I'm so happy to hear you found a bargain on shoes!  And they are the right size!  How lucky!  My fingers are so sore from wringing out kitchen wash rags.  I blame it on the Palmolive solution that cuts the grease much better these days, making my hands super dry.  Anyway, going to put a bandaid on the worst finger tonight and some neosporin.  Take care!  :)  Yay for the Walrus!  xxx

Hi, Janet!  It's been mild and breezy today.  Don decided to go to the Gym after we got back from a little ride to Lakeside.  That gave me time to get into trouble.  I brought the aluminum ladder in and brought down the cover for the exhaust fan in the bathroom near the tub.  It was easy to get down but then I had trouble getting it back on.  At one point the plastic piece that held one side of the spring-like things that fit up into the slit holes on each side broke.  Of course, that's my luck.  So, I got it back up somehow and then used some tacky stuff to hold it up.  It works for me and don't think it will come back down.  Famous last words, I know, but we know Home Depot probably carries them.  Why they make them so cheaply, I don't know. 

After that I decided to check the furnace filters.  They looked ok, so got the bright idea to clean Don's bathroom floor.  I do that on hands and knees.  Just easier.  So it's done and ran the sweeper on the rug that is in front of his sink area.  I made sugar solution for the hummingbirds and filled the feeder.  It was about time for him to come home so put the chili on the stove...and now I'm about ready to go in and sit in my bedroom for a while, watch tv, or start throwing away useless junk.  LOLOL

Chocolate watered the Lilium Ranidae, and spotted a Field Mouse feeding on the Bird Mix!

Don's going to fix fish and tater tots in the air fryer for our lunch today.  We'll have leftover chili for dinner.  Not sure if he will want to go out today for anything.  I'd be satisfied with staying home.

Randy jumped out of bed early.  When I saw the time, 4:00 a.m., I told him it was way too early to get up.  He decided it was, too, and got back into bed until 6:00.  That was a lot better.  Take care & have a good day whatever you do!  xxx

Hi, Janet!  Thanks for the White Mouse!  We'll have 81 degrees today.  A neighbor of Bob's sent him a picture of a dead Scorpion today.  Bob forwarded it on to Don.  Ack...he must live down the street from us.  We'll be on the lookout tonight with our Scorpion flashlight.  Ack, ack!  We've had scorpion spiders...they look pretty similar...but only one in the garage and one on the patio years ago. 

Yesterday while at the grocery store, Don missed a bag in the cart as he was busy putting the gigantic bunch of water bottles in the back of the Jeep.  Well...off in the distance as we were leaving I see a Mexican-looking man holding up a bag.  Don says I didn't leave anything in the cart...but he did.  I thanked the man so much for finding that and figuring out who it belonged to.  His wife and the nice man waved to us, as I was waving to him while driving off.  What a nice thing to do.  It was a big jar of Peanut Butter and Ground Beef.
