We went to Walmart to get some things, then Don went to Smith's later after dinner to get walnuts so I could make the Russian teacakes in the morning.  Gee, for someone who said they weren't making Christmas cookies this year, I've made enough! 

Was having less hip pain until today.  For some reason it started hurting when we were talking to Ruth out front.  I think she longs for people to talk to because her son is not so talkative. 

Not sure what we will do tomorrow.  Will be the last dry day for a while.  I might upload the pictures quickly and post the one of the finished jigsaw!  :)  Take care & have a wonderful Tuesday!  xxx

Hi, Janet!  Thanks for the Rainbow Dragon and Pink Diamond!  Today we were leaving to get lunch and Don was out talking to Ruth.  She had a present for us...some lovely truffles.  I gave her the tin I had for Bob, so this evening I made another batch of cherry coconut bars and will make some snowballs (Russian teacakes) in the morning.  He and Mary will like them, I hope. 

The jigsaw was finished this evening, too.  I'll post a picture.  Loved working on it!  You'll like this.  I had an extra piece....and kept checking it to see where it belonged.  Called Don in and he found the spot.  It was kind of dark in the room and had two lights aimed at it, making it more difficult to see the edges.  Anyway, it's finished and really had fun. 

The pool guys were doing the rebar work for the concrete pour.  I'm assuming it might be done tomorrow before the rain on Wednesday.  More dirt has been left but no out on the street.  I'm really not sure all this work can get done before the rains.  We'll see.  Randy really had a rough time with all the workers in the yard .... six.  He's not used to people being over there that much.
